"Very Nice property"

5 of 5

Very Nice property. The yard was perfect for our dogs to run and play. We enjoyed the simplicity of booking and check in/out. We will certainly book with you again next time! Thanks

"Beautiful cabin"

5 of 5

Beautiful cabin, exactly as described. Walking distance (0.2 mi) from the Pine Knot trail which is great for run/bike/dog walk. It's also in close proximity to a few restaurants. Our dog really enjoyed the spacious yard and we very much enjoyed the peace and serenity of the outdoor spaces. There are two outdoor decks with plenty of seating to savor your night beverage or morning coffee. Kitchen has all the essentials you need for cooking (but bring your own oil and spices). We also loved the hot tub! Would definitely stay here again.

"Perfect and private"

5 of 5

This our 2nd time staying at Rincon cabin, both times were great. The big front yard allows the kids to play in the snow, as we BBQ and have a drink on the deck. The long driveway allows friends to come visit without any hassle of parking. Also the convenient store around the corner from the cabin. The tile in the living room and kitchen allows for easy clean up. The staff at cool cabins were great and very helpful.. i will come visit again and recommend friends here..

"“Rincon Cabin - Close to the lake with a huge fenced in yard!”"

Great cabin, close to the Alpine Slide. Clean, comfy. Close to restaurants and the Cool Cabin check-in office. Loved the slate floors. Upstairs warmer than downstairs.

"we had a great time!"

4 of 5

We stayed at Rincon Cabin, which allows dogs and has its own hot tub. We found the cabin to be clean and decently stocked with blankets/towels/coffee filters/toilet paper etc. I believe it sleeps 4, but there were only 2 of us and it felt very spacious. We booked last minute for Labor Day Weekend 2015 and got very quick responses from the management company (Cool Cabins) before and during our stay. Pictures and details listed on the website were accurate to life, we didn't feel there were any surprises. Cabin was typical for a rental but had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Overall we had a great time! It had a very good location, had a couple restaurants, market for last minute supplies and a brewery walking distance and was only a 5 min drive into town (about a mile). Only a couple of minor inconveniences; there was a pet fee that we didn't know about until we had to sign the agreement, it was $10 a day extra which for the weekend wasn't bad but could get pricey for the whole week, the other was just that you have to drive your trash to a local dump site at checkout, but I've heard this is typical for the area and might be a local ordinance.

"Rincon is a nice cabin in a wonderful setting"

4 of 5

Cool Cabins was very professional and first rate so we are giving them 5 stars. Our usual dog friendly Cool Cabin (Serenity?) was booked this time. We worked with Sara and she was polite and knowledgeable with a positive personality. You could tell she knew the rentals and knew her job Very well. She had easy access to her manager and the manager seemed to be be readily available to her for the one question she could not answer. Sara came back with a positive informative answer. The cabin was cute although did not have a fireplace. It was 75 degrees so that was okay for sure. The cabin was on a very large fenced lot that was about half an acre so our dogs were happy and we didnt feel cramped. The big plus to this was the full size spa. We expected a spa bathtub so we were pleasantly surprised to find the spa in the back yard just off the steps of the wood deck. The only thing I need to write for the sake of future renters is that the one bathroom is upstairs. Not recommended for the elderly. Thank you Sara!

"Perfect play yard"

4 of 5

Perfect family cabin in good location. Yard is awesome for sledding. Jacuzzi was great. Downstairs is defiantly cool but tolerable for short stay. Maybe suggest a portable heater. Overall defiantly come back big bear cabin rentals was very accommodating. Thank you

"The cutest little cabin"

4 of 5

I absolutely loved the cabin! Everything was so nice! Beds were a little hard but I like them that way. The only negative I have to say is that we had to pay a cleaning fee but do our own dishes? Why did I pay if I had to do the cleaning?

"Awesome"

This place was a very great place to stay in it really felt like I was at home a very nice quiet area everything I need it was available for us to use. The only one thing tthat could of better my stay here was if the other bedroom were the bunk beds were had a television. Other then that this place is a great and top choice can't wait to visit this place agaun and stay in the same cabin. Enjoy

"Had a fun and relaxation at Rincon!"

5 of 5

We stayed 4 nights at the Rincon cabin in March. We had an absolute blast! Cool Cabins made it extremely easy to check in and out. The dog and kids loved the big, oversized yard! The property was secluded enough for our privacy, yet close enough to walk to azteca, Mill Creek Manor Tea House, Alpine Slide, and Pine Knot trail. The house was the perfect size for the 4 of us and a dog. The kitchen was big enough for 2 of us to cook and clean at the same time. Plenty of couch space in the living room. Both bedrooms were good size for us and suitcases. The bathroom was nicely updated. Loved the laundry room outside in its own room. The only things I would suggest would be to: clean the vent at the top of the stairs, and change the shower liner--they were both a little dirty. Also the mattress in the master bedroom was very hard. Those changes would make it perfect! We will be back to stay at Rincon!

"this place was great"

5 of 5

I read reviews about the first floor not heating well. I brought my own portable heater and was very cozy. The cabin is very nice. My dog had a lot of fun. The yard is pretty big with plenty of trees trees. The cabin is conveniently located within walking distdance of a market and the aztec Grill Mexican restaurant. If you're visiting in the winter, bring a portable heater for downstairs. I'll try to come back in the summer. Will rent again.

"Nice getaway place"

4 of 5

the Cabin was nice and clean, no complaints. the only small issue was the heating, upstairs get hot very fast and downstairs stays cold the two vents downstairs dont really warm up the place unless you blast the heat high. other than that everything was great!

"Great Birthday weekend!"

4 of 5

The cabin: cozy, fully equipped, very clean, private, perfect!! Had a great time, we were celebrating my wife's birthday and it was a great weekend. Enjoyed the hot tub, the deck with grill, it was a very pleasant experience. Loved the huge fenced yard, it was perfect for my dogs to run and play. A couple of things I would suggest: change the pillows, not very comfortable and the master bedroom's mattress a little hard, not totally comfortable. The customer service: not very friendly, dull. The overall experience was very good, loved this cabin and definitely will come back!!!

"Labor Day in Big Bear 2013"

4 of 5

We are a family of 4 (+ 1 dog) from la and were looking to have one last Summer vacation close to home but also in a place that felt like we truly "got away." Well, this cabin was it! Secluded, cozy and close to everything. We took the kids to the alpine slide, water slide, go-carts, bowling, movie, on the lake in a boat, fishing at Boulder Bay and into town for shopping. I loved the fact that we could bring our dog and that I could cook in the full service kitchen and that we could play many hours of UNO and Texas Holdem' on the nice size kitchen table. The hot tub was a great place to relax and enjoy the large yard and beautiful stars. I suppose the only negative (and why I gave only 4 stars) is that there is only one, very small bathroom. Other that that, I would definitely recommend this cabin and I can't wait togo back to Big Bear and stay there again!

"Nice getaway!"

4 of 5

The cabin was perfect and very nicely prepared. It felt like a home more than a cabin and it was very cozy. The only issue was that it had been described as being within walking distance to town and the lake which really wasn't the case. The light outside was broken and being how dark it is at night, that would have been nice if it was fixed but otherwise it was really nice and we will rent again for our next Big Bear adventure.

"Relaxing Hideaway"

5 of 5

The cabin was great, and was a very nice property. The fenced yard was perfect for our two small dogs to run around, and the cabin had everything one could ask for. The spa was relaxing after a 7.5 mile hike (trail head within easy walking distance) and I would recommend this cabin without hesitation.

"Enjoyed Our Stay"

4 of 5

Really enjoyed the fenced yard for our dog and young boys who could run around without us having to keep a strict eye on them. Very close to Big Bear Blvd. which was convienant yet presented constant traffic noise (take the good with the bad, I guess). The cabin was clean and had enough amenities for our stay, even a washer/dryer. All in all, I can recommend this cabin completely.

-Lisa on 07/10/2013

"Great summer getaway"

4 of 5

The cabin had everything needed, was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Our big "escape artist" dog could not get over the fence. The yard was huge and allowed the dogs to run off-leash for fetch. There was no fireplace or fire pit - a little disappointing, but we were able to BBQ. A little bit pricey for the accomodations. Would definately stay here again - mainly for the yard.

"Great Cabin"

5 of 5

We have made it our point to go to Big Bear every Memorial Day Weekend. This cabin is very clean, and perfect size for our family. Everything is fully stocked with all the amenities that you will need. Kids loved playing around the cabin, and it comes with two decks downstairs with table and chairs. We would definitely stay here again.

"Exactly what we needed for a relaxing Easter mountain getaway!"

5 of 5

This property is awesome! The huge gated yard that the dogs could run all around safely and in and out of the house was the best. I have never seen them so happy! The kitchen is great and has everything you need. ( except a strainer) ---Bring one from home if you will be cooking pasta!;) I cooked all of our meals and had a blast. We never went out to eat once. We brought groceries from home and anything we forgot we picked up at the mart literally at the end of our road. Little pricey but super convenient. It was a easy 5 minute drive to snow summit where we ski'd both Friday and Saturday. It was just the two of us so we never used the other room with the bunk beds. Great shower and great water pressure. The heat worked great so they must've fixed it. The cable downstairs was awesome my man watched a bunch of sports the whole weekend. The TV upstairs needs some help the channels were hard to navigate through but it did the job. The back patio is great and is just off the kitchen via a sliding door. That is where he used the charcoal BBQ and we had our breakfast and coffee in the morning. I highly reccomend this property as it was clean and very cozy. We fell asleep cuddling on the couch after skiing all day by 730pm tops both nights! I love this cabin and we will be back. Having very busy lives in la I haven't felt this relaxed in a long time. :) This pad was the perfect getaway.

"Loved it!!!"

We came for my birthday and we had an amazing time. Everything was very clean when we got there and we definitely enjoyed our time there! We did have an issue with the heater being hotter in some rooms than others but it wasn't enough to ruin our stay! we will definitely be back!!!

"Weekend Getaway"

5 of 5

We had a group of 5 adults and a Golden Retriever and we fit perfectly into the cabin. It is a little chilly on the main floor of the cabin, but very warm and comfortable in the upstairs bedrooms when sleeping. The yard was huge and fenced in, so our dog had a great time. Cabin is everything it is described to be. No suprises. Check in and out are very easy. About a 5 minute drive to Snow Summit and the Village shopping!
