Lake Arrowhead Directions and Road Conditions

Lake Arrowhead weather and road conditions can change quickly.  Please remember to carry chains in your vehicle when traveling to the San Bernardino Mountains during the winter season.

From the Los Angeles area:

Take 10 E, keep left toward I-10E/San Bernardino, merge onto I-605 N, then take 210 E. Take the CA-18/Waterman Ave

exit. Turn left onto CA-18/ N Waterman Ave, continue to follow CA-18. Turn slight left onto CA-173, turn right to stay on CA-

173.  From Orange County, Take 91 E, 91 E becomes 215 N, Take 210 E. Take the CA-18/Waterman Ave exit. Turn left onto CA-18/ N

Waterman Ave, continue to follow CA-18. Turn slight left onto CA-173, turn right to stay on CA-173.

From San Diego area:

Take 15 N, keep right to take 215 N, take 210 E/Highland. Take the CA-18/Waterman Ave. Turn left onto CA-18/ N

Waterman Ave, continue to follow CA-18. Turn slight left onto CA-173, turn right to stay on CA-173.

San Fernando Valley: Take the 210 E, merge on to 210 E toward San Bernardino. Take exit CA-18/ Waterman Ave. Turn left

onto CA-18/ N Waterman Ave, continue to follow CA-18. Turn slight left onto CA-173, turn right to stay on CA-173.

From Las Vegas area:

Take 15 S toward Los Angeles, merge 215 S/ Barstow, take the Palm Ave/Kendall Dr, merge onto Palm Ave/ CA 206, turn

right onto Kendall Dr, turn left onto W 40th St, turn left onto N Waterman Ave/ CA-18. Continue onto CA-18. Turn slight left

onto CA-173, turn right to stay on CA-173.

From Palm Springs area:

Take 10 W, merge onto 210 W towards Pasadena/CA 330/ Running Springs. Keep right to take 330 N toward Big Bear.

Turn sharp left onto Hilltop Blvd/ CA-18, turn right onto Kuffel Canyon Rd, turn left to stay on Kuffel Canyon Rd. Turn right

onto S State Highway 173.
