"The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. "

5 of 5

This cabin was comfortable and close to the ski areas. The kitchen was well equipped, the wood burning fireplace was great and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. The bed in the front bedroom had a slant toward the headboard that might be adjusted. Otherwise, we would stay again. The staff at Cool Cabins was very helpful.

"Great for guests traveling with pets!"

4 of 5

Very cute cabin in a quiet location. Close enough to everything you want to do, but far enough from the bustle of the village also. Back yard was very large for the pups to roam. Warning if you have small pups, the fence does not go all the way to ground so we had 2 escape. Thankfully the neighbor told us they were outside the fence. Inside cabin is very rustic. Could use a cleaning as there was a lot of dust on everything. (skis for a bed head board collects more dust than you could EVER imagine) Only suggestion would be installing a doggie door on sliding glass door. Would make it a bit more convenient. Thanks for letting us stay with our 6 little ones.

"Very nice and quiet cabin"

Very nice cabin. Actually "looks" like a cabin should. Comfortable and pet friendly!! Large backyard in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Only bummer is you can only park two cars on site.

"This place was a dream come true."

5 of 5

This was a vacation for myself, my husband, and our two medium sized dogs (siberian huskies) for about a week. The cabin was a good size for all of us, the couch and beds were quite comfortable as well - and the living room was very cozy. The key things I was looking for in a cabin it had; a wood burning fireplace and a fenced in yard for the dogs. It had nice decor, and it didn't have an 'outdated' feeling like other cabins we've stayed in. Everything was tidy and clean. We used the kitchen several times with no issues. The backyard was gorgeous even after getting a few FEET of snow during our stay. The dogs had an absolute blast as the backyard is very large. We were snowed in the day of checkout and our truck ended up getting frozen shut. Due to this we called management and booked a few extra days which they were very accommodating. I hope to take time off to stay in this cabin again. :)

"First big bear visit,"

5 of 5

I decided to take my wife and two kids to a short vacation to the mountains, This was our first time visiting the big bear lake area , we had a wonderful time there, the cabin was clean ,had a nice big yard My kids and my pet enjoyed it a lot, people is so friendly they welcomed all visitors. People who manage the property was professional and helpful, I'll definitely go back there in the future.

"Cute and cozy for small family "

4 of 5

1 Classic Cabin was cute and cozy for my husband, puppy and I, walking distance to coffee/restaurant and not far from downtown. Kitchen was well equipped for our small family. Only complaint was cleanliness and no curtains/blinds on the large sliding door for privacy at night.

"Refreshing Summer Break"

5 of 5

Left the triple digit heat of the high desert and arrived at this cute cabin with temps in the 70s and even a light rainstorm! :-) The rustic cabin was perfect for the 4 of us - myself, husband, son & daughter-in-law; comfortable beds, large patio with table, benches & bbq, full kitchen amenities, and extra-comfortable couches and large screen tv in living room. Great location - quiet neighborhood, close to grocery/convenience stores and restaurants; and within a few minutes of several hiking trails and the zoo. Enclosed backyard and patio with bbq was a great place to have dinner - dining with a cool breeze under the stars. We had a wonderful weekend, and look forward to coming back again!

"Great place to stay with family and friends!"

5 of 5

We loved this cabin (as we have stayed in others and they are quite dingy, furniture is usually gross and nothing matches) 1 Classic Cabin was so cute! It had lots of colors in the kitchen and the bathroom was obviously just updated. It had a great cabin feel in a good, quite neighborhood. We were very pleased with this rental. So many little nicknacks that you find all over this adorable cabin. The patio is great and the parking for three vehicles was perfect! Only problem was was that there was no firewood, but I understand that there may be issues with people stealing the firewood from the backyard, but if Cool cabins could provide a log or two in the little bucket by the fireplace that would be great for those of us that only stay one night! =] Very highly recommended either way, so close to everything! Will be staying there again soon!

"Nice, Low key Cabin"

5 of 5

We loved this little cabin, it was very spacious and clean. We stayed for 4 days and loved having the cabin to come home to every single night. While we were there we did a lot of activities, so it was nice that the cabin was available for us to come and go and it was close to everything as well. The next door neighbor, Tim was a really nice man as well. He was very helpful with obtaining a map of the area for us to be able to get around. The location of the cabin is very quiet and very low key, which was exactly what we were looking for. My one and only complaint was that the office was 3 miles away to check in and check out. And when I went back to drop off the key for check out the girl had no idea who I was and it made me a little uneasy to leave the key with her for checking out.Overall, this cabin is a nice little place and we will definitely be going again and renting from Cool Cabins and maybe even get a bigger cabin next time. Check out this cabin though, it's pretty awesome!

"Just as advertised"

4 of 5

We found the cabin nicely decorated and cozy. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and the wood fireplace was nice but we had to supply our own wood and fire starter materials. The electric heaters didn't supply much heat but we didn't think we needed it because the wall heater in the living room was sufficient. It would be nice if they would handle the trash disposal as there was no convenient place to dispose it. We also had to wait in line about 30 minutes at the rental place just to get the key and there was no drop box, had to bring the key back across town. Also didn't like the damage insurance fee of $39.Less than a mile from snow summit, nice location.

"cozy cabin"

5 of 5

We have rented this cabin for a few days of skiing for two adults and two teenage kids and were surprised how easy everything worked out. The cabin was very clean and inviting and we felt at home almost immediately. The two bedrooms are small with not much storage space, but the living/dining/kitchen area feels roomy. The cabin is very cozy, with a lot of wood and winter sport decorations. The couch was almost too comfortable and in front of a nice fireplace and TV. After a long day on the slopes we liked to stay in and cook, and the kitchen was equipped with a newer stove and fridge and was very clean. However, there was only minimal kitchenware. There were 2 medium sized pots, frying pans, 4 large plates, 4 small plates and a few cups (couldn't find glasses). We ended up buying paper plates and plastic cups and it worked out fine like that. The location of the cabin is great, just a short drive to shops, restaurants and ski slopes. Can't wait to go back!
