Alpine Lakefront - Rustic and woodsy older home and furnishings but right on the lake with great amenities. Vintage Lakefront with hot tub! Three bedrooms plus loft, two and one-half bathroom, pool table, card table, large brick wood burning fireplace, cable TVs including sports and kids channels, FREE WiFi, 3 DVD players with a movie library of over 70 titles, iPod/iPhone dock. Fitted with all the conveniences of home Alpine Lakefront has a full kitchen with breakfast bar, stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans and more. Huge fenced yard with giant sequoias and eagle nesting trees. Private balconies with gorgeous views. Hot tub on the wraparound deck with a barbecue with lake and mountain views. The pool table has been recovered, the deck has been re-stained and the house has been repainted. Fish from the shore or just listen to the gentle lake waves. On the lake in a shallow cove in the Eagle Point area. Spectacular lake and mountain/ski slope views. Just a few minutes drive to the ski slopes, golf, horseback riding, sledding, shops, and restaurants. Walking distance to the park and public beach. This area of the lake is very shallow this year.

Master Suite - California king bed, private bath, TV, lake views, upstairs.
Bedroom Two - king bed, deck, lake views, downstairs.
Bedroom Three - queen bed, TV, downstairs.
Loft - queen sleeper sofa, twin sleeper sofa, TV, DVD player, balcony, upstairs.

Alpine Lakefront comes with fresh towels, and beds are made up with fresh linens and plenty of cozy blankets. Our dedicated cleaning crew has the home clean and ready before your visit and does the cleaning after your stay. Our Lakefront homes usually require a 3-night stay during the summer months. For reservations less than 3 nights, please call to inquire.

Parking for 3 vehicles.
No indoor smoking is permitted.
Check in after 4 pm.

"They really care!"

Talk about customer service! They really care! I booked a cabin for one night since we found out there was a snow storm that weekend. It was our first time every booking a cabin as well as using this site. Note: Thank goodness we did it on a Friday because that drive coming to Big Bear Saturday looked crazy. Anyway, long story short, we originally booked a different cabin near the lake than the one we stayed in. My family loved Alpine Lakefront; talk about a true rustic cabin feel. I on the other hand would prefer a more modern place to stay in which is why it's a another reason to come back next year and stay at the other cabins. Definitely would recommend this site! All the staff were friendly and willing to help an extra hand.

Our entire family had an amazing time in Big Bear. The Alpine Lakefront cabin had amazing views of the lake from almost every room! It was a bit older (as mentioned in the description) but had a real "home" feel and Cool Cabin staff were very helpful and prompt in replying to my emails. Overall a great stay!

We have rented many cabins through Big Bear Cool Cabins, and this one has been added to our Faves list! The location is Perfect!!! I was a little worried of how old and rustic it was going to be, but it's really not bad at all. We'll definitely be back!!

"Wonderful family trip"

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect and just as it was described. When we had an issue with the Jacuzzi -someone came out immediately to fix it. Everything was well maintained and clean. The only thing I would have changed were the towels. I wish they had been bigger and there had been more of them. I would definitely recommend this property!

I did some research for the 4'days we staying in big bear , and we chose cool cabin , great experience from day one no pressure, and they were very helpful and all instructions upfront nothing hidden and when we pick up our keys all the girls in the office were very professional, I would definitely use them again , the house that we rented was alpine lake front , very clean great for kids and dogs

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin is comfortable especially if you have pets. Found the master bedroom upstairs to be very warm (needs a fan) and a little strange to find carpet on the bathroom floors. Nice area,

I reserved this cabin for my bday and I absolutely loved it ! Amazing view and it was comfy and nice and warm (: I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone .. It's very close to restaurants and if you're trying to go skiing there's so many places you can go to and they're all nearby !

I loved the cabin, everything was very clean and had such a nice cozy feeling. My family and I loved it, we played pool, got in the hot tub, lit the fireplace. The view is beautiful and the location is amazing. I would recommend it highly to anyone who is thinking of going.
