The Ashwood - FREE 2 hour Bike/Kayak Rental! Centrally located in the desirable Pinewood Estates area that borders Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City. Two bedrooms, one and a half bath cabin. Great treetop views from the living room and kitchen. Backs to open space that adds to the feeling of seclusion. The Ashwood features a wood/gas fireplace, FREE WiFi, cable TVs, Netflix, Hulu and Roku, DVD player, washer/dryer, and a game room downstairs with pool table and darts. Brand new comfortable, attractive, soft, and cozy mattress provided for each bed. Fitted with all the conveniences of home, The Ashwood has a full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, crockpot, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more. Custom bridge over a seasonal rock-lined stream and built-in sled hill.Walk to the lake, Snow Play, Convention Center, Oktoberfest, and Vons and Stater Brothers are easily accessible even with heavy traffic during the busy ski season.

The Ashwood comes with fresh towels, and beds are made up with fresh linens and plenty of cozy blankets. Our dedicated cleaning crew has the cabin clean and ready before your visit and does the cleaning after your stay.

"The Perfect Getaway..."

This was the perfect getaway I needed. The perfect getaway from my wife and kids, that is! I rented The Ashwood for a weekend and had a great , relaxing time. A clean place that is well-taken care of. Will definitely be coming back when I need some time away.

Perfect cabin for our summer getaway. Kids enjoyed the pool table and darts! Beds are newer and very comfortable, cabin is clean, and is located close to the lake/shopping. Big Bear Cool Cabin staff were fantastic; easy check in/out process, very accommodating, and I appreciate being able to text any questions/concerns and get a prompt response.

The Cabin is in a good location. My kids enjoyed the pool table, darts and the many TVs. The couch upstairs is VERY comfortable and three of my boys actually slept on it a couple of the nights we were there.

Booked this for a weekend with my friends to get away from the city and was just what we needed. Stocked the fridge and cooked home meals saved us lots of dough not eating out. Killer pool table, comfortable/clean beds/carpets, etc. and great views made us want to take good care of the place like it was our own. So glad we found this site and this cabin as we now feel we have a cabin in the woods to return to. Until next time, ashwood!

My family loved staying here. The two Comon areas (game room/ living room) are perfect for a big group. Great view from deck & big windows. Fully stocked kitchen really helps when making meals. We will definitely come back to The Ashwood!
