Located in a quiet neighborhood in Big Bear City, this cabin is the perfect mountain retreat for families or groups of friends. Nearby local restaurants and markets. Just a short drive to the lake, Village, Snow Play, Alpine Zoo, golf course, and more!
A classic Big Bear cabin with charming decor and a cozy, homey feeling.
LIVING SPACE - Cozy 900+ sq ft home with living room, ceiling fans, dining table, a smart TV, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.
ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 1 bath. First bedroom has a king bed, TV, and balcony. Second bedroom has two double beds, TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.
KITCHEN - Full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.
AMENITIES - Smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast WiFi, board games, and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace.
OUTDOORS - Hot tub, patio furniture, and gas barbecue. Enjoy the spacious and private backyard, and fully fenced patio area.

Per county requirements, we are permitted a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Please do not book or arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined from the city and evicted with no refund.

Really nice spot! The vibe was a small and cozy cabin - exactly what my group of 6 were looking for. It was perfect after a day of snowboarding at the summit. Definitely a clean and organized home. We really enjoyed winding down in the jacuzzi. The check-in instructions and home details were crystal clear and the host was always quick and prompt to respond to all my side questions. We appreciate the kind hospitality!

It was a cute cabin. It had everything we needed. The only complaint I have is it said fenced yard but it was a patio. It is fenced but not a yard. We take our dog with us every year we go to big bear. We like to stay at cabins that have a fenced yard, this place just didn't have that which meant we had to put a leash on our dog every time we took him out to go potty making it tedious and less enjoyable when we were at the cabin.

Everything was clean when we arrived, great overall house to stay in, plus it's not too far from anything so we didn't feel like it was out of the way if people wanted to go into the town.

Honestly this was a great place to stay at. Great amenities and such a cozy place to spend the weekend with my boyfriend. Clean place. Only thing is hot tub was left way to hot and we were unable to use it the first night. Check temperature right when you get there as it takes about 5 hours to be just right. Despite that the place is a hidden gem and you'll enjoy your stay.

Bear Trap was cute and cozy! The hot tub was super hot and very nice. Definitely older and not the fanciest place I've stayed, but it was worth the $ and we knew we were getting the cabin in the woods experience, so a few bugs and areas that need repair didn't matter. We enjoyed the front porch, living room fireplace, and little back patio with grill. We even enjoyed no WiFi and had 4G with Sprint and T-Mobile. Bring your own towel, they were sandpaper and left white fuzz all over your body. Otherwise, checkin was easy and location was right outside the main area of restaurants and lake fun! Enjoyed our stay.

My boyfriend and I wanted to do a short weekend getaway and it was easy to get to, a little farther from the village but it was nice to walk around the neighborhood and the Jacuzzi was a plus!

Ok, we stayed in this cabin for 5 days. Where to begin. I loved the new stove and microwave. There were kitchen supplies provided. It always makes trips easier with a good kitchen. That's the most important thing to me. That made cooking and feeding my family much easier. The spa in the back was lovely. We had a fire in the fireplace which was perfect. There were flat screen TVs and WiFi. The kids loved WiFi. There's a balcony right off the one bedroom which i absolutely loved. Step out enjoy the mountain fresh air with your morning cup of coffee. The cabin was clean and warm when we came. Towels were provided. The couch turns into a bed which we pulled out and lounged as a family talking and laughing. We didn't want to leave. I will be staying here again. We had no problems with anything during our stay. Thank you for everything!

Everything was great, except a few minor things. The BBQ grill was old and needs to be replaced. Half of the burners were broken, but we still managed to cook everything we needed. The gas tank emptied in the middle of our BBQ, but management was quick to replace the tank with a new one. Not to mention, it was after hours when they did. Also, we had an issue with the lockbox, but they came right away to replace that as well. Overall, it was everything I expected, and I would definitely stay there again. I want to thank bigbearcoolcabins.com for their fast service and response to issues.

Maintenance showed up within an hour to show us how to do it. I would definitely go back whenever I could. And I would DEFINITELY use Cool Cabins to reserve my lodging! Thanks for making it a memorable birthday for me!

This was my 3rd time staying at this cabin. It's perfect since it has an enclosed backyard with a grill and Jacuzzi. What more do you really need? I guess another bathroom and a washer and dryer would be nice, but you get what you pay for. Our propane tank emptied around 8pm while we were BBQing, and although the maintenance guys left for the day, they still came to replace it. I still give this cabin, and cool cabins, a 5 star rating for their service. Thank you!!!

Home was perfect for my husband, my self, and our 4 kids. Large living space, large bedrooms upstairs, hot tub was amazing to sit in at night. The house was clean and had everything you could need. (Minus cookie sheets) lt was actually my daughters 10th bday and I paid the extra money to have them decorate and have a cake ready. I was expecting nothing close to what they did! Streamers, banner, balloons, party hats, paper goods, candles, candy, table cloth, a personalized cake, it was really touching! My daughter walked in and was so surprised - with sheer happiness on her face! The house is close to town, we took great walks around the neighborhood and we never felt cramped in space. Can't wait to go back!
