Bear Woods Retreat - Newly updated cabin with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, FREE WiFi, TV with cable and Roku with Streaming channels including Netflix and Hulu, DVD player, PlayStataion 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii. Game room in the garage with a pool table and darts. Fitted with all the conveniences of home, Bear Woods Retreat has a full upgraded kitchen with granite countertops, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans and filtered water. Large back deck with a charcoal barbecue. Short drive to the slopes, zoo, golf, lake, and more. Walk to Oktoberfest.

Bedroom One - queen bed, downstairs.
Bedroom Two - queen bed, TV, upstairs.
Bedroom Three - twin bunk beds, double bunk beds, double bed, TV, upstairs.

Bear Woods Retreat comes with fresh towels, and beds are made up with fresh linens and plenty of cozy blankets. Our dedicated cleaning crew has the home clean and ready before your visit and does the cleaning after your stay.

Maximum Occupancy 8. Parking for 3 vehicles. No indoor smoking is permitted. Sorry, but Bear Woods Retreat does not allow pets.

The cabin was perfect for our group of friends and had everything we needed. Big bear cool cabins makes our stay easy and they make us feel welcome every time.

The cabin is nice and cozy! We came up here my family and my cousins family for Easter Sunday for a night. We did not want to leave, it felt like home. We definitely want to come back when there is snow and extend our stay a few more nights.

My family and friends loved staying at this cabin! It was very homey and beautiful. It had everything we needed while we stayed 2 nights. The fireplace and living space were great for entertaining and staying warm. Also the garage game room was a blast! That bathrooms are in excellent condition and so are the rooms. Only two things I suggest is 1) update the bedding/ blankets to something more modern/and or new 2) more towels. We had an awesome time staying there and would love to make it a yearly trip!

Sandra's guest service was superb. As soon as we checked in we felt welcomed. They even gave us a friendly welcome gift, a bottle of apple cider. They also have some vegan friendly chips available at times, at their check in counter. This year we checked in at Bear Woods Retreat. We will continue to come back. 4+ years in counting.

"Fun place to stay"

Had a great time at this cabin. It looks like it was just recently renovated. There were loads of games to play and a pool table. Lots of dvds to watch, too. Everyone had so much fun staying here. It's a peaceful area near the convention center and other stores and restaurants. There's also a nice patio in the backyard to enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended. Would stay here again! We loved Bear Woods Retreat.

"Thanksgiving weekend."

Rented this Cabin for thanksgiving. It's a Nice cabin on a dead end street. Had all the utensils in kitchen for cooking. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Kids loved the game systems. Everything near by. Didn't have a grill when we got there but the office quickly brought one to us. The only thing that I couldn't figure out was the DVD system. Had lots of movies to choose from but couldn't get any to play. But overall it was a great stay!
