A Beary Happy Cabin

With the bathroom on the first floor and bedrooms on the second, the stairs, especially in the middle of the night, were quite steep and they felt a bit unsafe. However, the place was clean and cute.

Great cabin. Small and cozy. Perfect for my small family. The kitchen and bathroom are super clean. My only complaint would be that the carpets were old and well worn/, used/stained. Still had a great stay though.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for my family to have a quiet and cozy birthday celebration. The cabin was exactly as described...clean, cozy and perfectly located. My 8 year old niece thought it was the "perfect cabin," and made me promise we would stay there again. She also made excellent use of the toys provided.Check in and check out was extremely easy. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

This place was amazing for my kids! Lots of toys and instruments and books for them to play, and close to many of big bears attractions.

The first place they put us in was horrendous. No screens to let cool air in. Some windows painted shut. The bedroom outside has a hornets nest in the eve right outside. BUT! They quickly moved us to a wonderful place on 79 Marin. Screens, lights of fans!! 100% better. We would stay there again. Both places clean.

My wife, 6yo son, and I were looking for a “log-cabin” type experience in Big Bear and this was totally perfect! Two cozy bedrooms upstairs, nice little balcony on one, some kids books and a little adorable bear nightlight in the other. Very wood cabin feel with exposed wood grain everywhere, very cozy! There is a living room with fireplace downstairs, we didnt use the fireplace, but it adds a nice touch downstairs just being there. Small bathroom, but the shower is a decent size and it's clean and functional. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and they had coffee which was great in the morning. We went in winter so there was snow everywhere and we didnt really use the backyard or bbq or anything out there, but there is a little out back area with a grill and something else covered, maybe it was a jacuzzi, don't know, but it is probably a nice place to hang out in warmer months. They have a selection of board games which were fun for down time and some small tvs with a few dvds (we didnt really watch since we were trying to get away from screens, lol, but you could chill and watch a movie if you like. Overall it was perfect for what we were looking for. Two car parking and totally walkable to the downtown shopping and restaurants. Our first time to Big Bear so we will probably try another cabin next time just to get something different, but our son already said he wants to go back to this cabin so we may be back to this one again, lol. Highly recommend this place, and the Big Bear Cool Cabins experience was easy as well. We chose to go to the main office to check in, being our first time we wanted to ask some questions, but you don't have to you can go right to the cabin doing all the checkin online/over text. Super convenient and easy to use, definitely recommend the Cool Cabins team!

Excellent place and nice house where I stay and it has space outside to rest, I highly recommend it is a place where you can rest with nature.

This little place is close to the village and has a completely fenced-in back yard to let your pups run around. We walked to the village for breakfast and dinner each day. All in all, we had a great time and will be making this our new home away from home in Big Bear.

Perfect little cabin near the village with plenty of entertainment for the entire family.

We have used Big Bear Cool Cabins now three years in a row. The check in and check out process is so easy. I'd highly recommend using Big Bear Cool Cabins! The cabin is always clean and inviting. We look forward to coming back again next year.

Check-in was super easy even with the facility busy. The directions to get to the cabin and in the cabin were very clear. The cabin was well stocked with supplies and entertainment.

From the start Cool Cabins was amazing with their communication and customer service, made our stay that much better. This cabin has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay in Big Bear. Less than a half mile walk from the Village, very clean, updated bathroom and very comfortable beds! We will definitely be staying here again and again!

Cabin had everything we needed and was very close to all areas of Big bear, lake, village, grocery stores.

This rental had everything we needed for my husband and our dog. We spent 2 nights and had multiple outings to the Village and surrounding areas to eat and explore. The location is perfect for a home base but still very quiet.

Loved it! The location, and all the small thoughtful items in the bathroom. Really self-contained and the kitchen, you thought of everything, from the coffee packs, to the crockpot, to the espresso machine.

The place was perfect for our family of four. The kids loved all the games and the stairs. It was close to everything and cozy. It would have been nice if there was a washer dryer but other than that it was a nice stay.

The cabin had an amazing assortment of toys and games that my 4 year old looooooved. The grill was great. We had an amazing time social distancing on vacation.

Love this cabin! It might seem like its away, but it's so close to the village you can practically walk there. The cabin itself was lovely. There were books and DVD's available, as well as a piano and guitar that my children loved. The rooms were cozy and warm. The TV was a bit on the small side, but if you're out and about around town, then it should not matter. I loved that if we had any questions or concerns, we could text them and they quickly messaged back. The backyard was small, but lovely. It was perfect for our family. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Loved the cabin! Great location and a really cozy place to stay. The kitchen had everything you could need! Beds were super comfortable. The yard was very clean and well kept. They also had every game you could think of. Will definitely be coming back again.

The boys went snowboarding while the ladies and little Forrest grabbed coffee and enjoyed the town. The night was filled with drinks, laughs, and memories that'll last a lifetime.

Favorite thing about our stay: keyboard and guitar, playing Yahtzee with the family, eating at the Copper Q(Vegan food options), seeing snow! Board games with the family in a cozy cabin.

This is a beautiful, clean cabin. Had lots of extras- blankets, games, guitar and keyboard!! So much fun with all the games. We even had a peek of the lake from the balcony upstairs to watch a beautiful sunset. Our pup loved the fenced backyard. A walk to the Village was convenient-we didn't have to find parking or a designated driver!!! Great stay.
