Brown Bear's Den

Absolutely amazing! We loved the Den and had great service. We ended up staying an extra day, since they made it so easy. We will definitely be coming back.

A great NYE stay at a very comfortable and well-equipped mountain home. A very nice unit in a quiet and safe community. Highly recommend!

Check in and out was simple. Cabins are clean and in a great convenient location. It was a great stay.

Location is great! Cute place with plenty of space but some simple updates would really help it out. Shower and wash Towels are small and very rough. Cookware (pans and pots) are Very warn in which made it tough to cook for a family of 6. Kitchen and bedrooms were nicely kept and there is plenty of bedding and pillows.

Nice spot for a small group to stay.

My family and I had a perfect little getaway weekend! We stayed at the Brown Bear's Den Condo. It was a nice, quiet, relaxing retreat. The cabin was clean, cozy, it just felt like home. It was a 3 bedroom and 2 bath. My husband I slept in the master bedroom, the bed was a queen, and was very comfortable. My aunt and her husband slept in the second room, which had a full. My other aunt and grandfather slept in the 3rd room which had bunk beds. And my mom slept on the pull out bed in the living room. The cabin had all the necessities we needed, like plates, cups, utensils, pots, and pans. There was a TV in every room and WiFi. The heating system worked great, especially in 17 degree weather. It was about 10 minutes away from all the shopping and restaurants. There were a lot of nearby areas where we can enjoy all the snow. We ate at the Hacienda Grill, delicious authentic Mexican food. We all enjoyed the cabin very much. I would definitely recommend Big Bear Cool Cabins, great price, great cabin, awesome customer service, what more could you ask for?!

Cool Cabin: Brown Bear's Den ComboBooked this cabin for three nights and four days, for awesome weekend family getaway. Place kept all seven of us cozy and warm. The reason why we gave this place a 4 our of 5 star rating was because in the cabin, there were two downsides: the first floor's toilet wouldn't stop refilling which led to leaking of water and we often ran out of hot water which is probably due to outdated water heaters. Other than those two major annoyances, everything else was either doable or great.Area looked quiet and it was, thankfully. Enough parking for two cars from each cabin. There is also public parking which was not too far away from the cabins which was convenient. Anything further would've been a major down-set since we had three cars. Two parked on the cabin lot and the other one had to park on the Performing Arts parking lot. That third car was still in good condition though!.. Though we did not use the utensils that were provided, it was nice to see that they were stocked with supplies in the kitchen. Good for others who don't want to bring their own cooking supplies. In addition to provided supplies, they had paper towels and toilet paper, as well as towels. Again, we didn't use it but nice to have available for their guests who decide not to take their own. Again, this place was cozy. It was nice to have a fireplace in the living room. They also had a couple of games available to play like Scrabble which we used and had fun with. With the patio, we didn't have a great view but it's always nice to just sit back and relax, especially when BBQing (which that was also available to be used). Our cabin had three bedrooms which each had extra pillows and blankets. I do wish that we used the tennis courts and if I'm not mistaken, there is a hot tub. I could be wrong but either way, we would rent out a cabin from Cool Cabins again for sure and use it's amenities.Before I end this, I would like to thank Sandra again. She was very kind and helpful when we checked in.

We enjoyed our stay in Brown Bear's Den. The location and amenities were what we were looking for. We did have issues with ants in the kitchen, but otherwise the townhouse was clean.
