"We absolutely loved it"

5 of 5

Came up for the holiday weekend with my family and got a cabin from cool cabins. We absolutely loved it it had both the look and the feel of a cabin deep in the woods. The other great thing was the cabin was fully stocked with everything you could need from pots pans knifes utensils cups plates salt pepper I mean they had it all you just had to bring your own food and drinks. Our cabin even had a washer and dryer which came in very handy. We had both a bbq and a gas fire pit and inside a fireplace. We were close to town and the lake so we could come and go very easily. The staff at the office was very helpful when we checked in they went over things to do and where to fish with us as well as where we could get a discount if we mentioned we were staying with cool cabins. They made it very easy for us we got there early and had to wait until 12 to check in so they gave us the cabin location and then texted us the lock box code at noon so we didn't have to go back. It's the little things like that make them a five star review. We definitely had a great time and we will definitely come back for another trip maybe not on a holiday weekend though because it was very crowded in town but we definitely will be back.

"Cozy lil cabin "

5 of 5

The cabin was great! Small and quaint, but very cozy. There were nice couches downstairs for everyone to hangout at, and the front and back decks were both great to catch some sun! Carpet upstairs seemed brand new as well, it was so soft! I would just recommend that they remove those silly tables blocking half of the hallway in the kitchen... it made it very crowded.

Nice cabin to gather with friends. I would stay here again, and I do recommend this place in the summer. It has a relaxing spa on upper deck. Beautiful views surrounding the cabin.

This place was great! Friends and I were looking for a quick getaway and this cabin was just perfect! Jucuzzi,BBQ,foosball, nearby lake and village. I will definitely stay here again. The only con was that the fridge was not working very well.

"I booked this cabin for myself and 5 of my girlfriends"

5 of 5

I booked this cabin for myself and 5 of my girlfriends for my 52nd birthday and I could not have been more pleased. Cubs hideaway had everything we needed and more. The cabin was clean and well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, dish soap, paper towels, laundry soap, whatever we needed it was there. The lake is just a short walk away and the village was just a few minutes away by car. The girls and I had a blast in the Jacuzzi. It was already heated when we arrived and we definitely enjoyed relaxing in it. All the bed were very comfortable with plenty of blankets. The little kitchen table in all the pictures I saw only sat 4, but there is a leaf for the table and extra chairs so we were all able to sit around the table to eat as well as play games. All of us want to book Cubs Hideaway again this summer and some plan to come back with their families. What a great weekend, Thank you Cool Cabins.

"I had an amazing time"

5 of 5

I had an amazing time! It was my second time using Big Bear Cool Cabins, I tried using another a website to get a cabin and couldnt due to my age, a year away from their requirement. I was just trying to have a relaxing getaway and thanks to Cool Cabins, I did. Will definitely use them again next year.

"Room for the whole Family!! Relaxing and quiet!"

5 of 5

Absolutely loved our stay at the "Cubs Hideaway". The whole family came together for a good Labor Day Weekend getaway from the Inland Empire heat. Their is plenty of room for everyone to sleep and to relax inside and outside. Kitchen is fully functioning with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. Front 2 patios to relax on and enjoy the quiet sounds of the forest. There are close neighbors, but friendly and quiet. Lots of surrounding vacation homes as well so that is nice. There is a large picnic park with hiking/walking trails within walking distance to the property. Comfortable beds and bedding, towels are not too bad for showering. BUT note you need to bring your own lake/jaccuzzi towels. There is only shower towels on the property. Easy check-in and out process with the management company. They even allow you to bring your trash to their facilities instead of the main city trash areas if that is easier. Downstairs: Master bedroom, full remodeled bathroom, couch, TV, DVD player, Playstation with 1 remote (no games so bring your own), Fooseball table, dart board, and a large popcorn machine! Upstairs: Smaller bedroom with full/twin bunk beds and dresser, very large bedroom with cal king bed and dressers (room for a blow up mattress in here if needed), living room, kitchen, dining room table for 4, laundry room, and 3/4 bath with standing shower (updated). There is a spiral staircase inside which is nice, but also the large stairs outside you can use too. Easier for the hauling in and out when checking in and out. 2 downfalls: Not walking distance to the lake, very short drive to the lake across the way, but you can't park anywhere. So easier to plan it ahead of time to drive to the main areas and park. 2nd would be that the backyard fire pit requires a propane tank to use, so we didn't get to enjoy that. (Neither a downfall to loose a star at all)
