The Fox Paw is the perfect mountain getaway. You'll have everything you need at your fingertips at this dream location conveniently located in the heart of Big Bear.
Just a short drive to popular restaurants, shops, ski resorts, and lake.
LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1400+ sq ft home with living room, TV, dining table, bar seating, a wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.
ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom plus loft, 2.5 bath. The upstairs first master bedroom has a queen bed, a twin bed, TV with DVD player, private bath with jetted tub, and access to the balcony. Upstairs second bedroom has a double bed and private bath. Upstairs third bedroom has a twin bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.
KITCHEN - Granite countertops, stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.
AMENITIES - Game room in the garage with pool table and foosball. Board games and card games. Smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast WiFi . Relax in the jetted tub or snuggle up near the cozy wood burning fireplace.
OUTDOORS - Wrap around deck with plenty of patio furniture, charcoal barbecue and fully fenced yard.

Well appointed 2 story home with a nice layout 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and a .5 bathroom downstairs off of the kitchen. Games galore to keep occupied when you're not relaxing in front of the fireplace or entertaining in the kitchen/ bar area. Would definitely stay again as it's just a few minutes West of the Pine Knot Ave., providing great access to the whole area

The yard was fenced and perfect for our dog. The kitchen was sizable and had all the stuff I needed to cook full meals for our family.

We enjoyed our stay at the fox paw. The location was great very close to the village. Cabin was cleaned when we arrived, just some stains on the carpet upstairs but nothing major. We enjoyed our time at this cabin and we thank you for letting us rent with you. My husband was amazed and the kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball table. I do recommend to check the front porch light as it was not working for us and gets really dark at night could not see the stair very well, also the master bed balcony please check that light was not working. Other than that we enjoyed the time here and we will be renting out this cabin again when we return to Big Bear. .

So glad we found a place close to town, food, shops + ski resorts. We got to bring our dog which is great because she is part of our family. Large kitchen so stop at the store and bring groceries in :)

This was a great cabin, spacious clean. Great for family trip and our dog loved it. Family game room is so much fun. Definitely will recommend to family and friends. 5 stars overall but would recommend a bigger tv. for the Livingroom.

We were so happy with this house! It is in a great location, close to everything. We picked it mainly because we could bring our dog and because of the pool table in the game room/garage. The house is filled with sunlight, the beds are not the most comfortable, but we're fine for a few days for sure. The kitchen is really well equipped. The open concept living space is ideal, we also enjoyed eating on the patio. Cool Cabins could not have been more friendly or accessible. I would definitely consider renting this home again.

We came to celebrate my brother's 25th bday! This is the 2nd time we use Cool Cabins. This time we stayed in The Fox Paw. Beautiful property! The customer service upon arrival is great! They are friendly, and they get u on the way as soon as possible. Definitely using Cool Cabins again.

Our stay at the fox law was beyond great we went for our anniversary and we actually watched it snow. Everything there was wonderful

First thing, this cabin is VERY nice, plenty of room for a family of 4 or 5. Good lighting, awesome game room, fairly comfortable beds (for those who like firm mattresses). Only thing missing is a dining room table & chairs. The only place to sit down to eat is the little breakfast bar. You could also use the kitchen counters (or even the coffee table) if you need more room. There are some repairs that need to be done, however.........1. Garage Door - Misaligned somehow (looks like the track was installed crookedly). There's about a 2-inch gap on the bottom on one side. That would NOT be good in the winter snow! 2. Barbecue - The charcoal pan needs to be replaced. It has rusted out and fallen apart (half of it was down in the yard!) Overall, I recommend this cabin, but NOT IN THE WINTER! Once the repairs are made, this would be nearly perfect year-round!

It's been awhile since I booked a cabin through Cool Cabins so I decided to give them a try again. I was able to book last minute and got a way better rate then other online booking websites. Everyone in the office is very nice and even when I had trouble with the place I booked they found me a better cabin and made me and my family happy campers. Thank you for such great service and I look forward to dealing with you again. I will definitely refer this business.

Big Bear Cool Cabins is amazing there staff is friendly and very helpful. We stayed with them last summer in 2016, and we couldn't wait to go back. We stayed in the Fox Paw and that cabin was very family friendly. I called today to plan another week trip for July and they helped me with short notice, Elizabeth was amazing and took good care of me. Their app is very sufficient and really handy once you've made a reservation. If you're looking for a cabin rental in big bear give them a call you won't be disappointed.

Overall good experience. However the house had about 8 light bulbs that were out which made walking around at night a little difficult. The "instruction folder" was outdated so we didn't know how to connect to wifi or work any of the TV's. The house is actually listed for sale right now so maybe less attention is being paid to it by the owner. I added the "romance package" because it was my wife's birthday and they didn't have flowers or chocolates set up when we arrived. If you do add anything on I would call "Cool Cabins" ahead of time to confirm they received your request. Lastly, we texted as instructed after we got back on the road to home about our check out (at 8:30am) and I received a call at 2pm (I was at my open house in Orange county) from the admin that because we had not asked for a late and were still at the house we were going to be charged extra. Not sure if there was some kind of misunderstanding because I double checked the number we text and it was the correct one that we gave us. Don't mean to be too negative because the home was actually pretty nice, close to the Village (long walk though would suggest Uber) and was very well maintained with a fun garage that had Foosball and Pool. Some minor details that could make this a 5 star rental pretty easy.... Hope this helps !!

Nice big home that looked newer than some of the other places we've seen. Not exactly walkable to the lake, though the location is still great. It was walkable to the Aspen Glen picnic area which had the Pine Knot Trail. Overall a very comfortable stay!

Decent size house. Master bedroom is huge. Second bedroom only fits the bed. Kitchen is spacious, but the living room is not. Back yard was covered in snow during our trip, so the kids had a blast sledding and building snow figures. Backyard is a good size and enclosed, also has a large deck with BBQ. Entire house was clean and comfortable; we really enjoyed our stay.
A nice and cozy feel to the house. Fun game room. Nice neighborhood.

Stayed here for two days and had the best time. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Plenty of dishes, mugs and even bakeware for brownies and cinnamon buns I made. Kids played pool and foosball for hours. It was just great. Very clean cabin compared to others I've stayed in before. So close to everything and the alpine tubbing. Close to snow summit to take a break between skiing to come home for a bite to eat. Lots of towels and blankets provided. We referred to it as the best lil cabin ever. Thank you cool cabins!!

The property was perfect for my mom and I and our 3 dogs. The front porch light didn't always work, but I think it was user error. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner, and found every thing we needed to cook.We'd gladly stay there again
