Description

The Getaway - This centrally located vintage Big Bear A-Frame is the perfect romantic escape from everyday life. Nestled among the towering pines, this property is located on a quiet street with beautiful peek-a-boo views of the Bear Mountain slopes. Split loft bedroom with one bath, wood burning fireplace, FREE WiFi, Smart TV with cable and Netflix. Fitted with all the conveniences of home, The Getaway has a full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans, dishes, and more. Fenced in backyard, front and back deck with barbecue and pet-friendly.

Split Loft - two double beds, upstairs.

The Getaway comes with fresh towels, and beds are made up with fresh linens and plenty of cozy blankets. Our dedicated cleaning crew has the cabin clean and ready before your visit and does the cleaning after your stay.

Maximum Occupancy 4.
Parking for 2 vehicles.
No indoor smoking is permitted.
Check in after 4 pm.
Check out before Noon.

I loved my little trip in this cozy house. So adorable, cozy, and quite. This is the type of home I dream to own one day. Not to mention, great services, maintenance and customer service. When I to tell them that my hot water is not working, they sent me Roberto right away. Such a helpful and knowledgeable guy. In the end, it was no problem with the hot water, but I was dumb enough not to figure how the shower works. I will definitely be back. And when I say back, I say this particular beautiful little cabin. "Get A Way" was an amazing getaway! Thank you cool cabins!

We had the best experience with Cool Cabins. The office staff is very helpful and friendly. Maria helped me stay within my budget. The cabin we stayed in was called the Getaway and it was perfect in every way. It was clean and equipped with everything. Thanks to Cool Cabins, we were able to comfortably enjoy our time at Big Bear. We will definitely book with them in the future.

"Perfectly sized for one family"

We stayed in the Getaway Cabin a weekend during the ski season. My children loved the place. It was cozy and it created a "home" feeling. I think it was a much better option than an impersonal hotel room. The cabin was very clean. I don't think it can accommodate more than four people, preferably a family, as it doesn't have full walls on the second floor. I like warm places, and this cabin was warm even when the outside temperature was very low. We found plenty of board games to keep us entertained in the evening. The cabin is very close to the Big Bear Mountain. Not walking distance, but a very short car ride. We enjoyed our stay there.

"Quiet Comfortable place "

The House is very nice and I spent two wonderful nights there. Although Big Bear was snowing heavily and I almost lost control of my car on the way with chains, the experience I gained here was rewarding.

Having 3 large dogs, finding a rental is always a challenge for us. I loved that this cabin allowed pets without restrictions. There is a clause that renter's would be liable for any damage caused by pets, but that is completely understandable and acceptable to me.The cabin itself was clean, well furnished, and in a convenient location.We will definitely stay at "The Getaway" again and recommend it to our friends with fur babies.Would not recommend for elderly, disabled, or kids as the stairs leading upstairs to the bedrooms are quite narrow and steep.
