We have been coming up to Big Bear for 12 years and have stayed in many homes over the years, but this is by far the best and our new favorite in Big Bear, and top 3 all-time stays anywhere.There were many impressive features about this home, but the pristine cleanliness was the first one we noticed. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked- spices and cooking tools, the couch is huge and comfortable and the trees surrounding the cabin outside of all the windows made time spent in the spacious main room very relaxing. This area is better in person than in the pictures. Beds were also very comfortable and shower water pressure was great.The highlight for our family with two kids, though, was the game room. We had so much fun playing games in the well-maintained arcade that the kids didn't even want to leave the house. Location was very central and hosts checked in regularly and were very friendly as well. We can't wait to stay here again one day and highly recommend this cabin.

We absolutely love staying at Cool Cabin's Grizzlys Den Air BnB location. We are a large blended family with six kids ages 6 - 22. This cabin and the coziness of the home we staying it make this one of our favorite annual vacations together. There is something for everyone, game time is amazing, the couch is huge, the bedrooms are clean and welcoming and fit all of us, plus a grandparent sometimes. The prep and the condiments left in the home for us to easily make family dinners or treats without having to pack EVERYTHING is so helpful.

I must say a very beautiful place. My family enjoyed staying at this place. Had lots of fun with all the arcade games, pool table and ping pong. We sure enjoyed our stay. A very nice neighborhood, not far from the stores. I highly recommend anyone to stay at this place if you’re looking for something fun and relaxing, this is the place.

Honestly, from start to finish, this was just a perfect rental getaway. The house was immaculate, it was beautiful. It was loaded with lots of fun stuff and the rooms and common areas were well kept and comfy. We loved it here!

Our family had such a great time during Spring Break at the Grizzlies Den. This home was beautiful & perfect for our family of 5 (my parents joined us for Easter). Very clean, had a fully stocked kitchen of cooking supplies, comfy couch and beds...and the arcade / game room was the BEST!! We spent a lot of time playing games together as a family. We visited the Big Bear Zoo on Easter morning, took a bike ride around the lake, and did some shopping in town. The house is very close to the zoo, grocery stores, bike trails, the lake, ski slopes (winter). We would definitely stay here again!

While the pictures are great, there is nothing better than arriving and there being more. The kitchen has every single thing you can think of that you may need! Every single one of those games worked and nothing with a hassle. Very tidy and clean. We utilized everything because we were there a limited time and every single adult on the trip was very impressed! Perfect for children. It even had a children's gate and I have toddlers. I would absolutely book here again and I wouldn't see why I'd book anywhere else! Thank you to the host for keeping this place and all of its fun stuff together. The only thing we couldn't find was a broom lol! Highly recommend.

BEST STAY EVER!! Where do I start with this cabin! From beginning to end, this place exceded our expectations! The home is SUPER CLEAN! Everything is well organized and has all the kitchen gadgets you need! They were very flexible on allowing us to checkin an hour prior. Great communication! (We appreciated this so much!) Very close to the village, stores and tubing which was very convenient for us! We loved the game room! Our kids had so much fun and I loved how everything was labeled and made it all very easy to access! The couch is massive and was super comfy! One of the best cabins we’ve ever stayed at! You literally feel at home in this cabin! It was perfect for our family that we all wanted to stay an extra night! We have a yearly family Christmas trip to big Bear and we have finally found a set home and look forward to booking here again! Thank you so much for hosting our stay!

We just came back from our weekend stay at The Grizzlies Den and to be honest…we didn't want to leave! The house was beyond our expectations. The beds are firm and didn't cave in in the middle, which was a HUGE bonus for us. The couch was large and extremely cozy with lots of blankets to snuggle up in while the fire was roaring in the wood burning fireplace. The house has all of the modern day amenities and it is beautifully decorated. The game/arcade room was the absolute highlight! There were so many games to keep us entertained. The location of the house is also great. It's close to several grocery stores, restaurants and the village was only a few blocks away. The neighborhood is very quiet as well, which was really nice. We have been going to Big Bear for years and have stayed in a lot of cabins/houses. The Grizzlies Den is BY FAR the BEST place we have stayed at! We will be staying at The Grizzlies Den again without a doubt!!

Such a fun place to stay at. Highly recommend for families.

Had the most amazing family time for Labor Day’s weekend at the Grizzly’s Den. The house is incredibly clean with a kitchen packed with all the stuff you need for cooking and the kids never could get over the man’s cave… they absolutely lost it when they discovered it. VR, pool, tennis table, air hockey, arcades, darts, card games, board games etc…. Such a fun place to stay at. Highly recommend for families.

We just had a wonderful stay at the Grizzlies Den. The house itself is spacious and beautifully appointed. Everything inside is set up for generous comfort with an eye toward design. The living room is welcoming and the couch is so unspeakably soft and friendly that you will have to fight your way clear. Seats at least 8. The kitchen is modern and has everything a group could possibly need with all items being of the highest quality. The downstairs playrooms (yes, two!) defy description. They are so well equipped that it was hard to tear ourselves away to go out and try the restaurants. The pool table was a special favorite with an ample supply of queues and convenient seating. The linens, mattresses and (extra) blankets supplied were brilliant and we slept like babies. Everything is well labeled and helpful. The location is beyond convenient with grocery stores under 5 minutes one way and the village with tons of shops and restaurants under 5 minutes the other way. We recommend this rental highly. Convenient, generous, comfortable, luxurious. A dream.

Very nice house. Very well stocked and appointed. Furnished in very good taste. TV's in every room. Fabulous game room, BUT not big enough for pool table. Not possible to make many shots, and no bridge came with pool cues. Shower controls were difficult to use. Beds were too firm. No jacuzzi. House was expensive for 2 people.

The cabin looked better in person than the pictures could even show! The arcade room was a blast, the cleanliness was superb, the kitchen was well equipped, and the list goes on. The location was also perfect. I would happily rent this cabin again or another through Cool Cabins. The only super minor issue we had was that the air hockey table wasn't in great condition so it was pretty hard to use.

My 12 yr old son, 3 of his friends, and my husband participated in the Spartan Race this past weekend. We wanted to stay close to the race and family fun stay-at-home options afterwards. This place was it!!! The game rooms were AWESOME!!! The open floor plan and big dining table was perfect for a big group. Loved the bunk room for the boys…

This house was very clean and well stocked. Everything you need for cooking is already there. Plenty of games and beds for the family. A really fun place to stay and a great Neighborhood close to Big Bear and Snow Summit. My only complaint would be that the master bedroom mattress is very firm, but I would definitely stay there again.

The house is extremely well taken care of. First impressions as we walked up the stairs of the property, were nothing but “awes”. We highly recommend this house for your next Big Bear vacation. The house has plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. The game room and garage were a joy to have. We loved it here!
