""Cabin is awesome!" "

4 of 5

The Knotty Cabin in Lake Arrowhead was as gorgeous as promised. My three boys took advantage of all the room for them to run around, and my husband and I enjoyed the gorgeous surroundings. The kitchen was well stocked as far as dishes, utensils, cooking implements, and came with a fresh sponge still in its wrapper -- a small, but appreciated touch. Wi-Fi was steady, but we didn't really want to login to our own personal Amazon Prime and Netflix accounts on someone else's Google Chrome stick, so it took about a day and a call to AT&T to adjust our data plan before we were able to use our Roku stick from home. The cabin does not have cable. The property was clean, but there were a few things -- cobwebby patio doors and ceilings in the bedroom, not enough wash cloths to go around, a slow water dispenser in the refrigerator -- but these are minor annoyances. The water heater also must have been set to warm, and two of my kids ended up taking cold showers the first chilly night. Maybe the biggest annoyance was workmen knocking on the door at 8 a.m. our first morning for termite servicing. I wish we had had more time to take advantage of more of the amazing hikes in the area. My 4-year-old was upset when we got home and asked repeatedly over the next week when we could go back to the cabin. "Cabin is awesome!"

"Peaceful Nature Filled Stay"

5 of 5

The cabin has a nice layout. It has an open space feel to it. The area during the time of our stay was very quite and peaceful. Taking long walks by the golf course was one our favorite activities. Kitchen has everything necessary and plenty of sunlight coming in. The only suggestion would be despite the cabin being cleaned okay before the stay, it may be in need of more thorough/deeper cleaning of floors, fire place, tables, top of the shelves, rugs, check all the lights and bulbs if they are working etc. This may have already happened since we were there a while ago. Other than that I'd definitely return for another peaceful nature filled stay.

"Cozy, Private, Level Entry - Red Door Cabin"

5 of 5

Loved the level entry on this cabin, we brought our dogs and one of them is 12 years old, this allowed him to enjoy going for walks with us easily! The deck gives a feeling of seclusion and privacy while enjoying morning coffee or wine in the evening! Also, loved the open concept living, dining and kitchen area so everyone could be together. Would return to this cabin again!

"Great Cozy Cabin"

5 of 5

The best part of this space is the "great room" and open concept of the main space. It's a beautiful view and the surrounding area is great for jogging around the neighborhood. It's styled nicely in that mid-century decor. It's not high end finishes, but everything in it is rather new including the mattresses, which are really comfortable. The chimney works well. I do wish there was a brighter light in the downstairs guest room, and I might add another rug at the entrance to catch all the leaves as you enter the house (just a suggestion). There are also nice touches where they provide little soaps and shampoos too. Overall, we had a great time, thanks!

"Loved it!"

5 of 5

Loved the flat enterance, we brought our dogs and one of them is 12 years old and has trouble with stairs, it was great for him and us. The location afored a feeling of privacy and seclusion, as did the beautiful deck for coffee and wine with the tree tops! We will definitely come back to this cabin again!
