Upstairs also offers an inviting deck to enjoy your morning coffee while reading your favorite book or newspaper. This cabin features cable TV, complimentary WiFi, and board games. Krauts Hacienda has a full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spice rack, and a wood burning fireplace. Fenced yard with gas barbecue. Nestled in the quiet Moonridge surroundings and close to shops and restaurants. The large flat yard is perfect for making snowmen and memories in the winter. Walking distance to the ski shuttle and just minutes to the Lake, Golf Course, or Village. Great hiking and mountain biking trails are also easily accessed via a short walk.

"My first cabin!"

This is my first ever to book a cabin and it was the best cabin I could’ve booked. It was very homey. We really enjoyed our stay my kids loved it. Will definitely book again!

Big Bear Cool Cabins was easy to work with. I originally found a cabin in Big Bear online with VRBO, but the price was much higher. I went to Big Bear Cool Cabins and found the same cabin for about $250 cheaper for the weekend. As soon as I booked the cabin I received a confirmation email with check-in instructions. Their office is in Big Bear City just West of the Village on the main highway. Very easy to locate. They were able to check me in very quickly and gave me directions to the cabin. Their staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will use them in the future. The cabin was clean and comfortable and of great value.

"Quiet, Relaxing and Fun!"

We had another great stay in Big Bear Lake. We enjoyed our stay at Krauts Hacienda. We especially enjoyed sitting on the inviting front porch in the mornings and evenings amongst the pines. We also enjoyed using the grill in the back for our meals. This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and is centrally located so everything is a short drive away. We have been renting from Big Bear Cool Cabins for quite some time and have recommended to family and friends. The cabins have always been very clean, and more than met our needs. The customer service has always been excellent, polite and professional from each team member I have interacted with at BBCC. Thank you for another great stay!

This cabin is located in a nice close location to grocery stores and easy drive to village and shops. The neighborhood was also very quiet and easy access. The cabin is cozy and has a nice backyard we enjoyed grilling our meals, we also enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons. The inside of the cabin was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed using the fireplace in the evenings, we also liked the natural light brought into the cabin by the windows, the upstairs balcony is nice off the 2nd story. This cabin was perfect for my husband and I, we just wish the internet speed was faster as my husband was working remotely. We have always received professional and excellent customer service from BBCC, thank you and we look forward to our next stay!

"This was our first visit to Big Bear as a family."

This was our first visit to Big Bear as a family. While I found the cabin on VRBO, I booked it directly through the Cool Cabins website (saved a couple bucks) We booked Krauts Hacienda last minute for a few days before Christmas. Booking was easy and efficient through their website and then the app- everything was electronic, even the rental agreement contract. The office called me about 30 minutes after I completed my online booking to walk me through the process of completing the registration (rental contract), we also ordered some wood to be delivered. They offer grocery delivery too- but we didn't need it. Checking in was super easy- through the app they offered not only an early check in, but a combo to the lock box so we didn't even have to stop by the office. The house was clean and cozy with a well stocked kitchen. There was also a fenced in yard perfect for the dogs. CC was responsive by text when we had a question or request, and even sent us an alert about needing snow chains upon departure- although we figured as much given the foot of snow that had fallen overnight. Checkout was equally as easy, a simple form to complete and we locked the keys back into the lockbox after closing up the house.
