QUAINT RUSTIC CABIN NEAR THE LAKE!

Perfectly located near shops, restaurants and, popular Big Bear activities. Only minutes to the ski resorts, Alpine Zoo, and the Village. Take a morning stroll through the quiet neighborhood and enjoy the brisk mountain air. This home will truly make you feel like you’ve gone on a mountain retreat!

LIVING SPACE - Cozy 800+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and comfortable living room seating. 

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 1 bath. Upstairs first bedroom has a queen bed and a TV. Upstairs second bedroom/loft has three full beds and a TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Recently remodeled full kitchen, stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.
 
AMENITIES -This home offers cable TV, along with fast WiFi and a DVD player. Board games and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. 

OUTDOORS - Enjoy the spacious deck with plenty of seating, a charcoal barbecue, and fully fenced yard!

What truly defines a top-notch rental company, in my opinion, is absolutely great customer service. People who genuinely care about their valued guests, and work hard to insure that they have an enjoyable stay. My experience with Big Bear Cool Cabins has been defined by excellent personalized customer care, and a true desire to see that I am completely comfortable while enjoying my cozy lake cabin in the woods. I had to contact the front office a couple of times for very minor maintenence issues, and they sent someone to my door literally within twenty minutes. The fact that a need was addressed so promptly and without question is what impressed me most as a former contractor. From Big Bear Cool Cabin's attentive and responsive Management, to their wonderfully effusive office support staff, I could not be more pleased with how my experience has been with the company. It's so gratifying to hear a friendly voice on the phone, knowing that the vacation rental company truly cares about the quality and satisfaction of my stay! "Cool Cabins saves our New Year Vacation"

We ran into an issue with the cabin we first rented. Cool Cabins quickly mobilized to address the issues same day. Due to some issues not being able to be fixed right away, Cool Cabins agreed to change us to a new cabin that saved our New Years Big Bear family vacation. It was an amazing cabin which met all our needs. We plan to rent from Cool Cabins again in the future. Great customer service.

Lake Cottage has been a favorite weekend away over the years—the coolest bed “nooks” for kids (or adults!) upstairs and cozy warm common spaces downstairs. Nice bikeable neighborhood and an easy walk to market or brewery for walkers. My favorite spot during our early August stay was the front porch in the late afternoon. Memorable! Looking forward to another return visit. Thank you, BBCC :)

Our 4 furry citters were welcomed with water bowls, biscuits, chew toy (from Cool Cabins ~ the check in/out rental agency for this cabin)...fenced in yard, hot tub, fireplace and all the comforts of home. Linens, blankets, extra pillows, full cooking utensils, great furnace, space heater (if needed), tv upstairs and down and all of the unique charm/woodwork of a 50s Bavarian cabin...wood floors and vinyl flooring for easy cleaning with snowy/wet paws running in and out...all appliences work well and the hot tub was a wonderful comfort after an active day and 20 degree night...close to a little market and short drive to the Village, lake or slopes.

Spent 2 nights at lake cottage. Enjoyed very much. Cabin is rustic but clean and well equipped. All bedrooms are upstairs with the bath downstairs so I slept on couch which was comfy. My mistake, should have noticed that. Good location, quiet neighborhood. Easy short drive to all in big bear. Not private , houses on all sides and though you can walk to lake, you can't get to it because of other properties. Service thru cool cabins was good. They work hard to fix any issues. Not sure if I would stay in cabin again only because during my stay I found other ares of big bear I liked better. Great cabin for the money and when you are just getting your bearings. Brought a dog with me and enjoyed many walks in the neighborhood.

Enjoyed my cabin. Dealing with cool cabins was ok. Very friendly and personable. Had a few minor issues- firewood and gift basket not in room, wifi not working. They were very responsive and worked hard to fix the problems. Cabin though was clean and as advertised, will use again.
