Reservation process is the most detailed and thorough I've ever been through. I didn't mind spending more time doing all this because it seems like this is a really buttoned up company. Someone was always available over the phone when I needed help. The unit has an amazing view, of course. Not too far from the center of town. Shower had great water pressure. Beds were comfortable enough. Plenty of seating. I would definitely recommend staying here for a vacation. Unit is older like most everything in big bear. But it's in decent shape. Heater works well. The only warning I would give people is, the driveway is pretty steep and longish. Depending on what car or truck you drive, it can be hard to get out early in the morning due to the ice that accumulates. The ice seemed the worst at the bottom. I think I would advise parking near the top of the driveway if you plan on leaving early in the morning. But all in all, great stay and I would definitely stay here again.

First of all, this company was amazing they contacted us in case we wanted to check-in early which was way before our check in and I really appreciate that because we drove a lot and it was nice that they let us check in early. On the other hand, We had an amazing time, the cabin was very clean and I love that it was very bright inside. Even though this cabin did not have a dock we had enough space for fishing and because it had a long driveway it was easier to carry our boat and kayak. Thank you so much and definitely were coming back next year.

Quiet amazing peaceful place. I would like to rent this same little house again. My husband saw a ghost in the house and don't want to return but I do I didn't see anything wrong with that place.

Last week my family and I enjoyed a 3 night getaway to Big Bear Lake. We booked a great 3 bedroom house right on the lake through Big Bear Cool Cabins. The process was quick and easy. I called the staff to make a small adjustment and they were very friendly and helpful. On checkout, I called again with a small question about the cleanup process and, again, they were helpful and friendly. I would definitely consider booking a house or cabin through Big Bear Cool Cabins.

Wow what a view. Smaller cabin but makes you feel like you are in a mountain cabin. It was so nice sitting out looking at the boats go by and doing some good fishing out front of the cabin

Great Location - Lots of Room for the Family

Brought the kids up to the snow after Christmas and we were lucky enough to get this cabin. Although it had a one star review, we were happy with the location and the layout. Tons of room for the family, great location and bigger than other cabins that we have rented. We would come back - thank you!

My husband and I had a wonderful time in the quaint, home-like cabin. We felt very comfortable and safe. We plan on returning in the future. Cool Cabins made everything very easy for us. They were very helpful, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended!
