The Space
This cozy 900+ sq. ft. cabin offers a warm Big Bear atmosphere with beautiful wood details and a comfortable layout for relaxing after a day in the mountains. Gather in the living room around the wood-burning fireplace, stream your favorite shows or enjoy board and card games together. The kitchen and dining area provide everything needed for easy meals during your stay.
Outside, soak in the private hot tub beneath the trees, relax in the spacious fenced backyard or fire up the charcoal BBQ for an evening outdoors.

This was such a sweet and cozy cabin! We loved our stay here, and the cabin is located in a perfect spot to get to the village and Snow Summit. The cabin is decorated with little bears that make it super cute! The fireplace was a special highlight while we sipped hot chocolate and watched The Sound of Music on evening. The only thing - but did not interfere with the stay - cleaner rugs in the bathrooms and more pillows when sleeping. You will love the cabin! :)

I have been renting from cool cabins for about 3-4 yearsmainly the same cabin, because I love it so much.I love the service, cabins are super clean, whenever we have needed help with hut tub ....they are very responsive and have come and resolved issues in about 1-2 hours , customer service is awesome!!however in the last 2 years I have not been able to get an early check in. I travel with dogs and I used to be able to get in early for an affordable fee .their policy now is 4 pm check in and when traveling from out of town with family and dogs its difficult.this is an added stress to my first day of my holiday trip, so may be a deal breaker in the future. specially with more options being open due to economy. maybe they could develop a frequent renter program with perks with free early checking with minimum stay? this would absolutely seal my deal with this company

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was clean, super cute and cozy. The check in process was a little frustrating as they wanted to charge us for arriving just an hour early, even though the cabin was ready for us. That was unfortunate. The power went out in the neighborhood while we were there and there were no matches/lighters, candles, or lanterns in the cabin so we were in the dark for a while. Would’ve been nice for them to have that stuff for emergencies. Other than that the stay was great!

Just as described. My only disappointment was that there was no shade on the back porch, which is exposed to the sun all day. There was a patio table with a hole in the center but the umbrella was missing.

Nice and clean. Spa was very foamy. Key for spa was not in lock box, found it on kitchen window sill. Could use a larger microwave, however, it was a great escape from the heat.Thanks

The house was the perfect mountain getaway for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. The backyard was enclosed which was convenient for our dogs, and of course, they loved to play in the snow.

We found the cabin to be clean and comfortable. We stayed with our 5 year old and 1 year old and there were age appropriate games and toys to keep them occupied. The cabin was warm and cozy and had everything we needed. We plan to stay here again for future trips.

Moonridge Cabin was a joy. Very clean and quiet; beautiful area. Our family loves Big Bear and we've been visiting since the mid 70's. Grocery order was a big help and very nice to do breakfast on our time. We love Cool Cabins and hope to revisit soon.

Excellent 5 stars! We enjoyed our stay at Moonridge Mountain. Our place was clean and tidy when we arrived. Check in at the office was quick and efficient. I appreciated the text message checking when we would arrive and being able to text office throughout our stay. We are looking forward to staying there in the future. Love the tranquil and friendly neighborhood.

This was my 4th time booking through Cool Cabins. I love the convenience of entering my criteria and finding a cabin that fits our needs - 1 or 2 bedrooms, pet friendly, fenced in yard etc. We rented Moonridge Mountain for 2 nights for our Thanksgiving this year. Loved the size of the cabin and the fully stocked kitchen made for cooking turkey and the fixings without any problems. The cabin was very clean and check in was easy and the directions to the cabin perfect. This was a nice change from our usual family routine but a welcomed one and we hope to do it again next year. Our dog enjoyed having her own space in the fully fenced in yard.

I'm so glad we found Big Bear Cool Cabins! The property was great. I loved the size of the bedrooms and especially loved the slider that led to the backyard. We specifically chose them because they are pet friendly and were taking our husky up for her first trip to the snow. The yard was enclosed, which was perfect, and the slider led right out from the master bedroom so we could let her out when needed. It was so nice having a full kitchen and all of the amenities available for such a great price. We will definitely be going back.
