Come join us for an exciting adventure on the beautiful Pacific Crest Trail and explore the breathtaking views of Big Bear Lake this Spring! You can select from three different distances: 33, 14, or 7 Miles. The Holcomb Valley Trail Run was started in 1997 to showcase the amazing trail running opportunities in Southern California, all right here in Big Bear. Plus, it's all for a good cause - the event helps support our local volunteer search and rescue organization who work hard to keep everyone safe during the run.
Event Details:
- Registration opens January 1, 2024 with special pricing until February 1.
- Registration & Packet Pickup: On-site registration and packet pickup is at Meadows Edge Picnic Area. Friday, June 7, 2024 from 4-5 PM and Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 5:30-8:30 AM.
- Start Times: 33 mile start 7 AM, 14 mile start 8 AM, 7 mile start 9 AM. Start/Finish location is Meadows Edge Picnic Area.
- Cut-Off Times: 10-hour time limit. 33 mile runners must be through the Aid Station at Mile 21 by 1 PM.
- Aid Stations: There are 7 well-stocked aid stations along the 33 Mile course; 3 aid stations on the 14 Mile course; and 1 aid station on the 7 Mile course.
