It’s time for Old-Man Winter to step aside and make way for Big Bear’s favorite springtime celebration. The 6th Annual Big Bear Lake Maifest (pronounced My Fest) has grown quite a buzz as Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest’s little sister. The festive event consistently delivers the same ambiance of cheerful revelries as Oktoberfest, but with a vibrant flare that screams springtime. The 6th Annual Big Bear Lake Maifest kicks off Saturday, May 20 with a special tribute to America’s Heroes (U.S. Military, law enforcement and firefighters). The festivities continue the following weekend for two more dates Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 (Memorial Day Weekend). While Maifest is scaled back a bit from her big sister Oktoberfest, there’s one thing for certain and that is she packs a big punch!
