Join us at Snow Summit on Saturday, March 14, for the 24th annual Victor Alvarez Memorial Race to benefit the Snow Summit Race Team. The annual event honors Victor Alvarez, a longtime instructor and Race Team supporter who passed away in a skiing accident in 1994. All proceeds from the event will go to the Big Bear Ski Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization managed by the Race Team.
In addition to the race, each year team members and their parents help organize a silent auction at the SoCal Marketplace with several items available for bidding, including lodging getaways, ski and snowboard equipment/clothing, gift baskets, and more. The auction begins at 10 AM and is open to the public.
