The highlight of any 4th of July event is definitely the fireworks. But no event would be complete without some good ole' BBQ and family fun! Here are our favorite spots to spend our Independence Day.
Spend the day at the Big Bear Convention Center with the July 4th Independence Day Fair from 8:30 am to 5 pm and Line Dancing with DJ Evan from 6 pm to (doors open at 4 pm)
Family fun all day with live music, vendors, and games for all ages. Then throw on your dancin' shoes for line dancing lessons starting at 6 pm and servin' up ranch style food all night!

Or grab your lawn chairs and blankets and claim your spot for the Annual Rotary Club Big Bear Lake 4th of July Lakefront BBQ and Fireworks.
BYO lawn chairs and blankets unless you purchase Reserved or VIP seating. (No ice chests, outside food/alcohol, or pets) Dinner service starts at approximately 4:30 pm.

Above The Boom is hosted annually at Snow Summit Resort with tickets available for $50. Tickets include Southern BBQ, Complimentary glass of Champagne, Live Music, and children's activities including face painting and a bounce house. At 8,200 feet your panoramic views of the lake will provide you with a firework experience like no other!

Big Bear Lake holds some bragging rights when it comes to 4th of July festivities but we are especially proud when it comes to our fireworks show! Our 4th of July Fireworks display is viewable from multiple public parks around the lake, aboard your boat or boat rental, or from many of our Cool Cabins rentals! The fireworks are shot from a barge on Big Bear Lake directly off of Pine Knot Landing starting around 9 pm(or when it gets dark)
