It’s Fall which means Fall Activities are in affect! Here’s 5 of the Best Fall Activities!

 

  • 48th Annual Oktoberfest at the Big Bear Convention Center

September 8 – November 3

All Saturdays: Noon – Midnight

All Sundays: Noon – 6pm

Rated Southern California’s #1 Oktoberfest! Join our extended family for a true German celebration featuring live German music, food, entertainment and beer.

September 15th

  • Scarecrow Festival in the Village

September 21st  – November 4th daily  

Be a part of the competition and vote for your favorite Scarecrow presentation in the Village by local merchants, non-profits and service clubs.  Six categories represented ranging from the spookiest to most humorous; great family fun; get your ballots and maps at merchants throughout the Village; drop at designated locations by October 30.  Winner announced Halloween Night, October 31!

 

  • Segway Fall Colors Tour

September 8 – November 25

Daily 1:30pm– 4:30pm

Take an incredible Fall scenic 2-hour tour gliding on X2 Segway Personal Transporters through the Village and forest with your own tour guide. Learn the history of Big Bear, soak up the Falltacular brilliant colors, and explore up-close nature at its Fall best.

 

  • The Copper Q Fall Cooking Demos

September through Thanksgiving

All Thursdays and Fridays at Noon

Cooking Demonstrations are free in store events where guests may watch and interact with the chef in the Demonstration Show Kitchen. Guests sit at the Show Kitchen counter, receive the recipe and get a sample of the fare being demonstrated. Guests should arrive early as the seating is limited to 12 people and is first-come; first-served.  Relax on the patio with a Falltacular signature drink!

 

  • Jeepers Creepers  at Big Bear Jeep Experience  

October 1 – 31; daily 5:30pm– 7:30pm (Except October 15th – 19th)

Experience the forest in a Jeep that you rent and drive; bring family and friends for a two-hour tour on Big Bear’s exciting, challenging and historic Gold Fever Trail.  The Oak trees put on a Falltacular brilliant display of colors. Join in the two-way radio conversation as your guide story tells the mining history, historic hangman tree and see what creeps you out at night!  Great photo opts!
