All the shops throughout the Village close their doors but they hangout outside on Halloween night to hand out candy to everyone! There are over 50 places to get candy from. Check out everyone’s costume, roam The Village after hours and there’s even a pet costume contest!
Boo at the Zoo
Where’s the best place to wear your costumes? At the Zoo, of course! Put on your best costume and see all the animals at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo.
Scare Valley Farms
If the kids are with grandma and grandpa, check out Scare Valley Farms! It’s adults only so you know this is the place to be! Make your way through the farm; ride the scary tractor and talk about ghost stories! Be aware of a creepy cemetery in a ghost town.
Haunted Pirate Ship at Holloways’ Marina
Board the Haunted Pirate Ship! Be prepared to be haunted by real paranormal stories!
Scarecrow Festival in the Village
There are six categories for this scarecrow contest! Shops in The Village will create their own scarecrow and hope to win. Make sure to grab your ballots and maps!
Jeepers Creepers
The spookiest place to be is in the middle of the woods on Halloween night! Check out this Jeepers Creepers at Big Bear Jeep Experience. It’s a two-hour long tour with your tour guide telling you stories of mining history, historic hangman tree and other creepy things!
Big Bear Cool Cabins has a cabin for any family in size! We range from studio units to 7 bedrooms. We also offer cabins walking distance to The Village!
