Now that the snow is starting to clear, where is the fun at? Our beautiful lake is the most obvious opportunity for fun activities, but keep in mind that Big Bear is located in the San Bernardino National Forest. Many of our visitors come to enjoy the hiking and biking activities our area has to offer. We have several popular trails that are open in the spring and summer such as the Alpine Pedal Path. This is a scenic trail for those of all ability levels. Pretty views and fresh air guaranteed. It's listed as being accessible for strollers and wheelchairs, so the whole family can enjoy it. If you are interested in a challenge we also have several moderate to difficult trail options. Castle rock trail, Pine Knot Trail, and Cougar Crest Trail will all help you work up a sweat while taking in the views!
