Life is warming up in Big Bear - the snow has melted and the sun has come out to play! What better way to enjoy the beautiful change in weather than taking in the sounds of our annual Sunset Concert Series!  Big Bear Cool Cabins is a proud sponsor of this exciting event that brings locals and visitors alike together year after year. This year’s lineup is a breath of fresh air, bringing a variety of musical genres and plenty of talent. Delicious refreshments will be available to purchase from vendors, however, you may leave your ice chests and chairs at home - they are not permitted at this event. The series kicks off June 17th at 4 pm - 8pm at Veteran’s Park at 40870 Big Bear Blvd. Here’s who you can expect to be performing this year!

  • Friday, June 17th: X AMBASSADORS ~ Considering themselves the “ambassadors of the “other”’, hence the X in their name, the members of this pop-rock band from Ithaca, New York are driven by creating a sense of community with their fanbase. X AMBASSADORS is composed of brothers and founding members Sam Harris (lead vocals) and Casey Harris (keyboard), as well as Adam Levin (drums). Russ Flynn is a touring member (guitar/bass). You may have heard a few of their hit songs including “Renegades”, “Unsteady”, and “Jungle”, as well as their work with Kygo (“Undeniable”) and Machine Gun Kelly (“Home”).  Supporting band MOONTOWER will also be performing Friday. The electro-pop trio from Los Angeles consists of equal parts Jacob Berger (guitar/vocals), Tom Carpenter (bass), and Devan Welsh (guitar/keyboards). The group is widely known for bringing highly unique visual elements to accompany their upbeat music ("Guess I'm Jaded"). Both bands are currently on tour this year and we are so excited for them to stop by and see us in Big Bear!"

  • Friday, June 24th: DEBBIE GIBSON ~ Debbie Gibson has been creating chart-topping hits for decades. This certified triple platinum recording artist, songwriter, pianist, and actress began her stardom in 1987- her debut album, “Out of the Blue” put her on the map officially. At the tender age of  was named songwriter of the year in 1989, and hasn’t stopped performing since.  You may have heard her hits “Foolish Beats”, and “Lost in Your Eyes”. Debbie released a Billboard No. 4 hit, “Girl’s Night Out” in 2021, as well as The Body Remembers, her first album in 30 years on her own record label, Stargirl Records. The album skyrocketed to No. 2 on Apple Pop Sales Charts and received over 1 million streams. Debbie continues to entertain year after year, and we cannot wait to see what she does next! 

  • Friday, July 1st: DRAKE WHITE ~ Born in Hokes Bluff, Alabama, Country music star Drake White spent his early teen years putting his thoughts and feelings down on paper. These same words would later become his lyrics. White considers himself an unrelenting optimist, as his 2022 tour title, “THE OPTIMYSTIC” suggests. Drake quit his career as a general contractor to pursue his true passion - music. He never looked back after his decision, and went on to not only hold his own in the country music world, but to thrive. His debut album “Spark” held tight at No. 4 on the Top Country Albums chart. Drake White and his band The Big Fire have opened up for Luke Bryant, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Zac Brown Band. They were also named one of Rolling Stones Top 10 Country Artists You Need to Know.
