Traveling to Big Bear? Ensuring a safe and smooth journey is paramount. Below you'll find essential directions and up-to-date road conditions to guide you on your way.

Directions:

From the Los Angeles area:

Take I-10 East to CA-210 North, then to CA-330 North. CA-330 runs through Running Springs and becomes CA-18. Follow CA-18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam into Big Bear.

From the Orange County area: 

Take CA-91 East to I-215 North, then to I-10 East, and to CA-210 North to CA-330 North. CA-330 passes through Running Springs and turns into CA-18. Follow CA-18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam into Big Bear.

From the San Diego area:

Take I-15 North to I-215 North, then to I-10 East, and to CA-210 North to CA-330 North, which leads you into the mountains. CA-330 runs through Running Springs and becomes CA-18. Follow CA-18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam into Big Bear.

From the San Fernando Valley area

Take US-101 East to CA-134 East, then to CA-210 East to I-10 East, and to CA-210 North to CA-330 North, which takes you up into the mountains. CA-330 passes through Running Springs and turns into CA-18. Follow CA-18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam into Big Bear.

From the Las Vegas area:

 Take I-15 South to CA-247. Upon reaching Lucerne, go past two stop signs and turn left onto CA-18, which leads up the mountain to the Big Bear Valley. Follow CA-18 for about 25 minutes to Stanfield Cutoff. Turn left, crossing the lake. At the stop sign on Big Bear Blvd., turn right to reach Big Bear Lake or left to head toward Big Bear City.

From the Palm Springs area:

Take I-10 West to Yucaipa. Exit at County Line Road and turn right. Follow County Line Road to Bryant St. Turn left and continue to CA-38. Turn right onto CA-38, which leads directly into Big Bear.
