Easy check-in and out. Cabin had the perfect cozy charm with a touch of nostalgia (I hope they never modernize this cabin). The surrounding area is perfect and very close to Bear Mountain Resort.

This is our 5th trip to this cabin. The cabin is beautiful and very cozy. Perfect for us and our dog. The wilderness area and hiking just outside the back gate is great because we can choose to do small trip or all day ones without having to drive anywhere. Cool cabins is very helpful and responds immediately if we have questions. We will be back again next year.

Very beautiful cabin, all sorts of unique stone work, excellent hot tub, stocked with everything you need (coffee maker with coffee, crock pot, blender, microwave, spices, wood burning fireplace, dishes and cooking were). Larger corner lot. Walk to hiking trails adjacent to cottage. Provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, body spray. Kitchen has washing supplies and paper towels. Excellent internet and good TV services. Driveway is dirt so it will get muddy with melting snow or rain. Comfortable couch, recliners, and bed. Very large and unique dining table. Nice grill and picnic table outside. Heat works well. Small fan, portable heaters, board games, and DVD's provided. Recommend 572 Social restaurant nearby with an awesome outdoor dog friendly patio, good food and great beer selection.(we went before checking in)

Check for errors. Wrote fast My family and I enjoyed the accommodations Cornerstone Cabin had to offer while vacationing in Big Bear on 7/25/15 - 7/27/25. The cabin was clean and ready for check in at 4pm; although, a little earlier would have been ideal. Everything we needed from kitchen to bathroom supplies were present. We did not need to make a trip to purchase anything for the cabin the entire weekend. The cabin was pet friendly and didn’t exhibit any signs of prior pets being present. The furniture, the sofa in particular, could probably stand to be replaced to provide a much more comfortable experience, but the beds and recliners were comfortable. The jacuzzi was very clean, but when we attempted to use it the first night, the temperature would not go beyond 93 degrees. The lights in the jacuzzi did not work, so it was very dark outside. There are several lights in the back, but they were way too dim and far away from the jacuzzi to provide the necessary lighting.
We truly enjoyed our stay!!!!!

We went out of town for a couple days with the kids for spring break. The cabin was great. It was cozy and had a great yard for the kids to play outside in. The cabin was also spacious for us and had plenty of room. There wasn't much snow when we arrived, but then there was a snow storm for about a day. Coming from Las Vegas it was a great experience seeing snow falling and build up everywhere. The experience was wonderful and makes us want to come out again.

We had a wonderful time at Cornerstone Cabin and even added an extra night! It was the coziest and sweetest little cabin, perfect for our couple's getaway. We enjoyed building our own wood fire in the fireplace and the hot tub was awesome! Big Bear Cool Cabins was great and ready to answer any questions we had during our stay! We had no issues and wished we could've stayed even longer. We loved this trip!

This is our 4th year staying at this cabin. We love it. It is homey, great location, and if there is any issue maintenance is sent out immediately and the issue fixed. We look forward to returning next year. One suggestion- oven pans and sharpen the knives.

Perfect cabin for a small family plus some! My wife and daughter had a blast as we enjoyed this extended winter snow. Location was close to everything we needed and accommodations were just as advertised. Hot tub was a major plus!

Amazing cabin, very clean and set up with everything we needed and sooooo cute! The kids loved the tree swings and we loved the hot tub. I had such a great experience with big bear cool cabins! Everything was easy from the start of booking online to checking out. The cabin we rented was the Cornerstone cabin and it was perfect. Everything was described in the description and perfect when we got there. The staff when checking in were super friendly and helpful. Our cabin location was great. We were in driving distance of everything. The recliner chairs were comfortable and heater was nice and warm. The bed in the master bedroom was a little worn out but still ok. The loft was nice upstairs. Hot tub and gas bbq grill was amazing. I got to sit in the hot tub and see the nice view of the snow and forest. It was perfect for my 2 year old daughter and loved how it was pet friendly. Our yard was huge and got to have a snowball fight.

Super Fun Cabin. My Kids loved the Giant Tree Swing. Could not get the off the swing... Cabin has lots of fund history an super unique construction utilizing things from homes of old movie stars. The best part is that the cabin backs up to National Forest.

This place is in a perfect location. So close to the ski lifts with wonderful hiking and sledding just right outside the back yard. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub looking up into the beautiful trees all around. There is a great hammock and fun swing. The fireplace in the living room is so warm and beautiful. Our teen girls loved the bed in the loft. Our golden retriever loved the back yard and we all loved playing in the snow. Thanks for a great weekend!! We hope to come back here soon.

Cool Cabins was my first choice for our Honeymoon back in 2016. We find they are always efficient, and easy to deal with online. In Office We find the Staff are very friendly, always great to chat with, very informative, and have always provided us with fantastic places to stay in. We will not use any other provider of rental Cabins, Cool Cabins are our number 1 choice.We made a mistake of using (Once ) Airbnb, and rented from a super house in Big Bear. All I will say is total hellish nightmare never ever again. So if your looking for great service,and provider of fantastic clean cabins, look no further than COOL CABINS.

This cabin was really cute and cozy and had mostly everything we needed for our one night stay. Loved the property (so did our dog) the fireplace and the hot tub. I will say the mattresses weren't the best - either saggy or too soft or old. If they update the mattresses in there I would be happy to stay again! It should be noted that the cornerstone was actually on a main road which I didn't notice when booking but it wasn't a huge deal - just worth noting.

We booked a cabin through Big Bear Cool Cabins and received a call the next morning regarding a maintenance issue with the cabin that we had booked. Long story short, we were unable to stay at that cabin but Maria Silva was so sweet and sent us links to cabins that they would upgrade us to without an extra charge. She made the switch in cabins painless. I also want to say that the receptionist and the maintenance guy were amazing as well. We stayed at the Cornerstone Cabin...it was beautiful! The cabin was clean, well heated, and very comfortable, and provided plenty of utensils for us to enjoy some hot cocoa by the fire! The hot tub takes forever to heat up, so turn it on the second you get there, otherwise the place was adorable, comfortable, and a really nice getaway for an night in the mountains! Also walkable to the ski resort, as well as an easy walk/drive up to some great hiking trails in a super cute and woodsy neighborhood.

We used this service for the first time and it was absolutely one of the easiest rental transactions I have ever done. They were a very organized and professional company. We chose to rent the Cornerstone Cabin for a few days and it was perfect. It was everything that the ad said. Quaint and backs up to the woods. Best of all it was very clean and I had no issues letting the kids roam around and play. There was a spa, a hammock and even a very cool swing. The only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is because there wasn't any Wi-Fi. Definitely recommend Big Bear Cool Cabins. Will use again in the future.

We loved our time at the Cornerstone Cabin! It is pet friendly and opens out to the national forest, allowing us many hikes and fun adventures! It is family friendly as well, with a hammock, tree swing, BBQ, and Jacuzzi. This is our 6th time staying at Cornerstone and we plan to continue to stay here each summer. Thanks for a wonderful week!!!

We loved that the cabin was really close to the mountain. Not really walking distance for us because we have kids. Loved the cabin! Very cute & cozy & love that there's was a jacuzzi. The only bad thing is that we used it at night & it was really dark outside. It's missing a little lamp or some thing out there. Cabin does need a bit of tidying up. There's lots of spider webs. We brought frozen meals with us & there's really wasn't any baking sheets. Besides that everything was wonderful!!!

Cute little house. Plenty of room for the four of us. The yard was nice and my kids even did some sledding. We left two sleds there for the next people. The hot tub was a plus. We enjoyed it.

My husband and I just got home from our vacation. We decided on the cornerstone cabin and it was perfect! We loved the finding the fossils that the builder placed around the walls and in the chimney. I loved reading my book out on the hammock! We have been going to big bear for vacation every year for the last 5 years. We spent the first 4 in the wrong place and will plan on staying at the cornerstone cabin again next year for sure! Thank you for a wonderful time!
