Honestly, it was amazing, it was super peaceful, the cabin had everything you needed, and the hosts were always super proactive.

Will definitely be staying again. Cottage was very warm and cozy. Neighborhood was quiet and close to the village and lake. The zoo was just a short walk away. Check in and out was quick and easy. Perfect for a couples getaway.

First time up the hill and was very pleased and amazed by the cabin and surroundings close to a lot but still get that woodsy feel. I will be back to this cabin real soon. Thank you for everything.

It was a really nice, cozy cabin to get away to! The kitchen was a big highlight — fully stocked and much better than what my family and I have experienced at other cabins. A couple of things stood out, though. From the pictures, the bed in the main bedroom looked like at least a queen, but it was more like a full size. It would be great to have a queen for added comfort. That said, the mattress, pillows, and blankets were very cozy. Cleanliness was generally good, but the couch covers had little feathers and didn’t feel as fresh as they could have. The bathroom had some ants and no shower hose, which was a bit uncomfortable. The outdoor table was also very dirty and needed cleaning ourselves - something to consider since guests pay a cleaning fee. The host was responsive, and overall it was a great cabin with just a few small things that could make it even better!

Just as described and good location

Stayed at Cottage in the Pines. Great location near snowing mountains for sledding. Cabin was perfect for 2 people and very cozy! Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and restrooms.

Our cabin was well maintained, in a great area, and fairly priced. We look forward to returning and renting from them in the future.

Cottage in the pines was the first cabin we stood at. The location was great because we were close to the markets, gas stations and restaurants. The second cabin (Sugar pine) was amazing as well very secluded and cozy cabin. Looking forward to renting from cool cabins again for next winter storm.

We brought our son to see snow for the first time, and staying here made us want to come back before the season ends. The neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. It's a few minutes from the main road and Big Bear's ski/snowboarding area. We highly recommend this place for small families like ours.

This cabin is amazing, bigger than expected. It is a close 5-minute drive to Bear Mountain, The Village, Vons, Stater Bros, Dollar Tree, and Snow Summit.

I booked the night before, last minute, the weekend of a spring break and yet I was still able to book with these guys. Thanks a lot for the awesome place to relax while my sons and service animal Bryan chilled and I enjoyed the snow.

Best experience I ever had with my fiancé

VERY COMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE WELL BACK AGAIN

We booked the cabin for the weekend in mid-November. It was beautiful in Big Bear at the tail end of fall with still some colors on the trees. The cabin was perfect. Clean, cozy, and with every amenity we could want. Great place to just cuddle up and spend a couple nights and enjoy some time in front of the fireplace or just sit back and enjoy a movie. The Queen size bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen has all the modern appliances you would want, and the bathroom was super clean with a great shower. Very nice to have a warm shower on a cold day. Highly recommended rental for anyone spending some time in Big Bear.

Great location, very clean and quiet. We have been coming to Big Bear and will always use Cool Cabins for our accommodations. This is great place for a couple to relax and enjoy Big Bear. The cabin is clean and the neighbors are fun. Had a good conversation with him. He is a longtime resident and he gave us some ideas for things to do. Side note if you like to bicycle ride take Elm to Cougar Rd and ride over to Big Bear City.
