Fall is officially here in Big Bear Lake, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with bratwurst, live music, dancing, and a stein in hand.
The Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest returns September 12–13, bringing another exciting season of Bavarian-inspired fun to the Big Bear Lake Convention Center. Break out the lederhosen and get ready for a weekend filled with beer, brats, music, contests, dancing, and plenty of Prost!

A Weekend of Oktoberfest Fun
Opening weekend is ready to set the tone with live entertainment throughout the festival.
Inside the Bier Hall, visitors can enjoy performances from The Ladyhosen Band and Die Sauerkrauts, while DragonWolf and the Mary Dyer Band bring the music outdoors to the High Altitude Bier Garten.
Sunday keeps the celebration going with Die Sauerkrauts, along with Winslow performing outside.
Whether you're coming with friends, family, or a group looking for a fun mountain getaway, Oktoberfest offers plenty of opportunities to eat, drink, dance, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

One Last Summer Night in The Village
If you’re spending Saturday in Big Bear, don’t miss the final event of the Big Bear Summer Concert Series.
The season closes with a FREE Latin Rock & Funk Night from 5:30–8:30 PM, featuring the energetic sounds of Bardo and instrumental soul-funk favorites Mestizo Beat.
Grab dinner, explore The Village, and find a spot near the stage for one last summer evening of live music under the Big Bear sky.

More Than Just Oktoberfest
One of the best things about fall weekends in Big Bear is that Oktoberfest is only part of the fun.
Take a ride on the Scenic Sky Chair up Snow Summit and enjoy sweeping mountain views before heading back down for an evening of entertainment. You can also make time for Skyline at Sundown and enjoy the mountain scenery as the sun goes down.
With crisp alpine air, beautiful mountain views, and events happening throughout the area, it’s the perfect time to experience Big Bear Lake at the transition between summer and fall.

The Perfect Summer to Fall Weekend
Bratwurst and beer. Latin rock and funk. Mountain sunsets. Cool alpine air.
That’s what makes a September weekend in Big Bear Lake special. Summer may be winding down, but fall is just getting started—and both seasons are ready to throw a party.
So grab your friends, plan your mountain escape, and make a weekend of it.
Raise a stein. Ride to the top. Turn up the music. Stay for the weekend.
