Big Bear is fun for all during our beautiful summer months between hiking, water activities, and
guided tours around town. You have some of the most gorgeous views of our Southern
California terrain when you hike the Pacific Crest Trail. You can tour around Big Bear on a
segway hitting all the best and most well known spots in town. Of course, we have our notorious
lake with water activities for the whole family, including sports fishing, taking out one
of our many boat rentals, water skiing, wake-boarding, kayaking, water trampoline, a jungle
themed water park, and much more. Not to forget Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain; this
attraction is known for its easy to use manual bob-sled along with a double water slide. This
attraction also has mini-golfing and go-karts for those who want to take it easy. Needless to say
that Big Bear is a great summer vacation spot for those of all ages. It has activities for the
adventurous type and for those looking for a relaxing getaway. Did I mention that we have
some of the best cuisine around in our wonderful mountain town.
When visiting Big Bear Lake you will not need to worry about going hungry! There are over 50
dining establishments throughout the town. If you’re looking for different types of ethnic food
you’ve found the perfect mountain getaway. This quaint town has everything from Indian, Thai,
Japanese, Italian and Chinese cuisine. If your palette prefers some comfort classics there are
the perfect spots around town for you including BBQ, pizza, burgers and other nostalgic
classics. Oakside is one place where you can cozy up after a long day of activities to relax
fireside and enjoy a cocktail with some great food. They even have live music on the weekends
and are family friendly. If you’re looking for a more casual environment then Teddy Bear
Restaurant or Saucy Mama’s would be a great place to go. Big Bear also has a fun active
nightlife for those who are looking for an evening adventure.
