Memorial Day serves as a day to reflect and honor our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and fought for our country’s freedom, and to rededicate ourselves to the values they fought to defend.
Visit Big Bear is set to host a fireworks show Sunday, May 28 in honor of the Memorial Weekend holiday.
The show will take place on the water near Pine Knot Marina. This allows the show to be seen from nearly any shoreline location and many trails with lake views.
The show will begin at approximately 9 PM, or until the sun has completely set. The local radio station KBHR will provide patriotic musical accompaniment to the show, which will be broadcast on 93.3 and 102.5 FM.
The illumination of the night sky with colorful blasts of light is a fitting tribute to those who gave their lives for the service of our great nation.
