This was my families first visit to Big Bear and we have dogs. Cool Cabins was perfect because they had pet friendly cabins. This one in particular was perfect. It had a great big fenced in yard. The dogs loved it! We loved it! It was a great home away from home. I highly recommend them. This location and cabin made our Christmas stay perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance you could possibly need to cook. I brought parchment paper etc. and I didn’t need to they had it! From dog bowls to slow cookers and two types of coffee pots. We will definitely be back.

WE loved the cabin; very cozy inside and a wonderful back yard for our pup. The living room was somewhat dimly lit. We like to read in the evening and I like to knit while watching sports and the living area was not brightly lit enough for this. A lamp between the two sofas would probably solve this.

My family and myself really enjoyed our stay here. It is a very well kept place and the kitchen had all the things you would need to cook. My dogs loved running around in the fenced yard which was great. The only thing I would have to comment on is you use a code to unlock the front door and you hand lock it from the inside. I would have liked a chain or something else to lock the door from the inside because if you have the code anyone can come in. (Property Owner) which I don't expect that but it would have been nice to have that extra sense of security. Like in a hotel you have a latch. Other than that I recommend this place! We will be back

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute little cabin. The backyard was enormous and perfect for the dogs. (We did see a coyote on the road so be careful). The kitchen was well appointed and had everything that we needed, the appliances were high quality, but the knives definitely need to be sharpened. The place was spotless and we loved having a bathroom for each bedroom. The only issue we had, and it wasn't a big one, was that there really enough light in the living room. This will be my new go to spot every time I go to Big Bear.

This is our 2nd time at this cabin and we fell in love with it again ! Our dogs love the HUGE fenced yard and we love the location, it's close to everything but you feel like you're deep in the woods . The owners leave peanuts for the wildlife and boy do they know . You will see wood peckers , Blue Jays and squirrels . We found they came by after the noisy crows did their morning rounds . The crows are hilarious . The cabin itself is spotless , very comfy beds and the kitchen has everything you may need . Cool Cabins were wonderful , super easy checkin . It was a super relaxing visit , reading a book on the deck after a morning hike then heading to the Village for dinner . We come every October and this cabin is usually fully booked so this year I booked early . Thank you for the stay !

This cabin is perfect for two couples and their dogs. The décor is super, "Big Bear" cute. It is well stocked with cooking equipment and bathroom supplies- along with a huge, fenced backyard for your furry companion. .There are a few issues to be aware of.... *Do not leave your dog alone in the back yard. Our first afternoon, we spotted a large, healthy coyote walking the back fence line. *The driveway is very steep and below street level. Catalina is 25mph street but sadly most traffic exceeds that limit. Backing onto the street from the driveway can be treacherous. It is difficult to see oncoming traffic due to the elevation and curviness of Catalina. Better to turn around in the driveway and head out onto Catalina.*The king beds are lovely but very high. If you are short, you may need a step. *You are required to take all trash to a secondary location - when you checkout.*If you are a stickler for privacy, the neighbor's home sits back in their lot and has a direct view into the backrooms of this cabin. There are well functioning blinds on all the windows but backyard activities will be on display. Happily, the next door cabin was never occupied during our stay so it was not a serious issue. My only complaint...a few dishes (coffee cups and plates) were not properly cleaned by the previous occupant - and this issue was apparently missed by the cleaning crew. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying here.

It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, close to the lake, hikes, and grocery stores. We have stayed here twice and will probably book again. We enjoy this cabin very much. Thank you.

Our stay at Creekside Cabin was wonderful! The property was exactly as described/pictured. This cabin is so well maintained and clean throughout - truly one of the best vacation rentals we’ve visited. The location is great - peaceful neighborhood close to the lake, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and anything else you might want to visit is just a quick drive away. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need to have meals in. Beds were very comfortable, WiFi very stable, TV options great. Enjoyed morning coffee and lazy late afternoons out on the large deck while our dogs romped and explored in the big back yard. The host dropped emails and texts to keep us fully informed at all times. Check in at the office was super easy and the staff was very professional, pleasant and helpful. Five Star stay for sure!

We have rented Catalina Creekside twice and cannot say enough great things about it: its location (near everything), its amenities, the top-of-the-line appointments, its huge fenced in backyard (which our dogs love) and more. Service and responsiveness of Big Bear Cool Cabins staff is the best. We rent places around the world. The staff at BBCC surpasses staff and owner responsiveness at any rental we have encountered.

The Catalina Creekside Cabin in Big Bear is perfect!!! it was obvious the owners take a lot of pride in their cabin and property. There are peanuts to feed the squirrels; the area is extremely quiet and very centrally located within minutes to anything you're interested in doing. There's a pleasant walking path nearby where the creek should be; unfortunately, the creek was dry, like many places are. AND the master bed spread - it's an UGG and is so soft and cuddly - I'm going to get one for myself! I'll definitely be back to Catalina Creekside!

The photos on VRBO were very helpful and the reason we booked this cabin....The amenities, cleanliness and dog friendly features are what make us want to make this an annual trip! This cabin had all the appliances and features we needed. Loved the fenced in backyard which was huge and dotted with pine trees. This is our first vacation with our dog and it was very memorable. Little things like dog bowls (didn't need but appreciated) and peanuts for the birds (which we used several times) made our vacation all the more enjoyable. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Loved it!! Far exceeded expectations. Extremely well laid out 1000 sq ft - seemed much larger. Kitchen had everything anyone could need, fireplace was awesome, beds very comfy & warm, place was very clean, tastefully decorated/furnished, back yard was really large & great for the dogs, loved the back deck, location is perfect - close to everything but nice & quiet at night. Very cozy - will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cabin. My husband and I have a comfortable and restful stay here. We highly recommend it! The only thing I would know is that there were no bath towels (we were told they were not a great quality so we brought her our own, but there were no bath towels at all, only hand towels). Also the sheets are very basic. Despite that, we had a lovely time and highly recommend Cool Cabins!

This property was very nice my daughter enjoyed it. It was very nice that it had one free ski or snowboard rental near my daughter and my niece went and we went snowboarding and skiing and it was very enjoyable. We were completely impressed with Catalina Creekside Cabin! We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this was by far the cleanest. It was so nice to have all the comforts of home, and the cabin was very well stocked with all the essentials. The location was also very convenient, and so very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the beautiful weather. Thank you to Chad and Heather for a wonderful visit to Big Bear!!

We loved this cabin and highly recommend it. We loved this cabin, it was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked, there were even two nice bowls for dogs. The beds were comfortable and there was an elevated bed for dogs, you just need to bring your doggie's blankets. The patio is very nice, and the backyard is very well enclosed for your dogs and small kids.I would probably suggest a couple of extra kitchen towels and nicer bathroom towels. (bring some extra with you). We will rent it again

Upon arrival, we immediately noticed how immaculate the property is kept. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and decorated by the owners. You can tell how much they love their cabin and want for others to enjoy it as well! Catalina Creekside Cabin is near shopping and restaurants yet nestled perfectly amongst the trees. Our family had a blast staying there. We really appreciated the games and puzzles, Wi-Fi, fenced yard and the shear sweeteness of the cabin. We cant wait to stay at this special little oasis again!

Upon arrival, we immediately noticed how immaculate the property is kept. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and decorated by the owners. You can tell how much they love their cabin and want for others to enjoy it as well! Catalina Creekside Cabin is near shopping and restaurants yet nestled perfectly amongst the trees. Our family had a blast staying there. We really appreciated the games and puzzles, Wi-Fi, fenced yard and the shear sweeteness of the cabin. We cant wait to stay at this special little oasis again!

This cabin exceeded our expectations on every level. I'm a little hesitant to write a great review as I want it to be my best kept secret so it will be available when we want to stay there again! My husband and I stayed there with our 12 year old lab and we ALL loved it. It was immaculate, spacious, nicely decorated and very close to the village. We had fun playing horseshoes in the huge backyard. It was conveniently located to our favorite hike (Woodland Interpretive Trail) which is perfect for our senior girl. We read our books on the lovely back patio and enjoyed watching Netflix at night. We feel very happy to have found this gem and will go back for sure!

Beautiful cabin and lovely location near everything. But also far enough away to make it a nice retreat. We brought our dogs and the house had a fenced back yard with lots of room for them. Reservations were easy to make and they had an online check in so you can get into your cabin without any hassle. Thanks Cool Cabins for the lovey stay. We already rebooked this cabin for a later date.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is comfortable, clean, and close to Bear Mountain. I love the roomy kitchen with modern red dishes and appliances. It even has a Keurig machine! The bed linens are soft. There are 2 TVs, 1 in the living room and 1 in the master bedroom. We love the big fenced backyard with chicken wires so your dog cannot get out; but don't leave your dog outside alone because we saw one big coyote roaming around.It is very easy to book with Cool Cabins. In addition, their employees are friendly and quick to respond with our concerns. When we checked in, they gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling cider, which was very nice. One negative is their bath towels are rough so bring your own if you are picky.We will definitely come back.

This cabin really was perfect, It was clean and undated, had everything you would want in a luxury cabin. Also, it was so close to the slopes! My family already wants to go back and stay in the same place.

We really enjoyed our Fall getaway to Big Bear! Of course, it is beautiful whenever we go but there was something about the crisp mountain air and the changing of the leaves that was truly magical. We've booked through Cool Cabins many times and it is always an exceptional experience from start to finish. This particular property was one of my favorites. It is a gorgeous log style home with everything you could need. It was cozy yet had enough space for my little boys to run around, perfect for our family of 4. We really enjoyed the deck in the back and I have to say the neighborhood was so nice and peaceful. I highly recommend visiting Big Bear in the offseason when it isn't as touristy. It will really give you a different appreciation for the town and its beauty. Anyway, we will be renting a larger property through Cool Cabins in December for a ski trip so stay tuned for that review! I expect nothing but the best from them as they have never disappointed me.

This gorgeous cabin was perfect for us, with two master bedrooms on one floor. Beautifully appointed and with a large, lightly wooded yard and a spacious deck, our dogs enjoyed the stay as much as we did! Steps are a problem for some, and the entry was easy, but be aware that there are steep steps to the yard from the deck. I think you could get there through the front fence/gate to avoid those steps.The photos show the rail type fencing, but there is also a wire mesh to keep smaller pups in the yard. With the ground being naturally uneven, logs have been strategically placed to keep escape artists within. If you have a Houdini pup, I would walk the property line to be sure none have been dislodged, then you can be sure your dogs are safely enclosed.The LARGE yard has a horseshoes game pit, and the house had some puzzles and game items tucked into drawers, plus there's TV with WiFi streamed shows, WiFi for your devices, and a nice stereo we could stream some music to from our devices. We kept the volume down - the neighborhood is quite peaceful and we didn't want to disturb that. The fireplace was easy to light with a gas feed, and a grill on the deck was also gas fed. Everything was comfortable and clean and simply beautiful. Comfy beds and seating, fluffy pillows for lounging... We didn't want to leave!I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a classy, comfy place that is dog friendly and very well appointed.

I absolutely love Big Bear Cool Cabins. I had messed up and reserved a cabin that didn't have internet or cable. My wife is in college doing online masters classes and i didn't pay attention to the cabin i had reserved. They immediately found us a cabin that had both and was a amazing cabin. I want to thank them for their help. It saved our vacation
