Explore some of Big Bear's most scenic hiking destinations with the Big Bear Trolley to Trails, a free seasonal shuttle service operated by Mountain Transit. Running from May through the first weekend of October, this convenient route connects visitors from The Village to several popular trailheads and outdoor attractions throughout the Big Bear Valley.
The trolley operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holiday Fridays, with multiple departures throughout the day. Stops include Big 5/Conklin Road, Towne Trail (Snow Summit), Stanfield Marsh Boardwalk, Woodland Trail, Nature Discovery Trail, Cougar Crest Trail, Fawnskin Fire Station, Castle Rock Trail, and Pine Knot Trail before returning to The Village.
Designed to reduce traffic and parking congestion at trailheads, the service offers an easy and environmentally friendly way for visitors to access Big Bear's hiking and nature destinations. Riders can enjoy beautiful mountain views while traveling to some of the area's most popular outdoor recreation spots.
